Capt. Joseph B. Handy
From the Peninsula News & Advertiser, Milford, Delaware County, NY, June 25, 1898:

Capt. Joseph B. Handy, of Schoharie, NY a brother of Congressman L. Irving Handy of this state (Delaware), was married to Miss Helen T. Calvert, of Philadelphia, in the church of the Transfiguration, that city, Wednesday. After the wedding Capt. Handy and his bride started for San Francisco, whence the captain will sail for Manila with a government expedition.
