Notes
I was so pleased to see the listings for the Franklinton Cemetery. I
visited the cemetery many times in years past with my grandfather Ernest M.
Rivenburg (Rensselaerville).
Ernest Melbourn Rivenburg was the son of Omar Rivenburg and Belle Waite. Both
Omar and Belle are in the Franklinton Cemetery near the other Waites. There is
either no stone for them or an unmarked field stone.
Omar Rivenburg 06/28/1861 - 05/16/1937
Belle Waite 01/30/1862 - 01/28/1938
Belle Waite was the daughter of Daniel Waite and Mary Ann Sornberger, and the
sister of Melbourn Watson Waite (husband of Nellie Davis). All of whom are
in the Franklinton Cemetery.
I wouldn't be surprised to find yet another generation in the family tree !
there but haven't dug back that far. All the information on the Waite side

Note 2
On your transcription page for the Franklinton cem, you list a James M.
Carpenter. The stone actually reads James W. Carpenter. His middle name was
Wesley. He was the son of David and Lucinda (Babcock) Carpenter. I know the card
in the library has M. but it's wrong.
