Nelson SLADE, son of Philip SLADE and wife Sarah WOOD; born 14 October 1819 in Hoosick, Rensselaer County, NY; died 18 April 1897 in Pittstown, Rensselaer County, NY. He married first Huldah MOSELEY, daughter of Pardon MOSELEY; she was born and died in Hoosick, NY. He married second Charlotte NICHOLS, daughter of Nathan NICHOLS and Martha HALL; she was born 10 September 1835 in Turin, NY and was still living in 1914. He had one child, by his first wife: Harriet Frances SLADE, who died age 7 months.

Isaac SLADE, son of Philip SLADE and wife Sarah WOOD; born 2 May 1826 in Hoosick, Rensselaer County, NY; died 21 October 1894 in Glens Falls, [Warren County] NY. He married 7 November 1860 in Moreland, NY to Eliza WHEELER, daughter of Hiram WHEELER and Jane CRANDALL; she was born 3 October 1839 in Moreland, NY, and died 11 November 1913 in Glens Falls. They had one child: George Philip SLADE, born 2 November 1862.

Philip SLADE, Jr., son of Philip SLADE and wife Sarah WOOD; born 28 February 1836 in Hoosick, Rensselaer County, NY; still living in 1914. He married 20 February 1860 to Angeline Emeline SLADE, daughter of Caleb S. SLADE and Catherine BABCOCK; she was born in January 1841, near Coveville, NY, and died 3 May 1905 in North Troy [formerly Lansingburgh], Rensselaer County, NY. He was a farmer in Hoosick most of his life. Their 10 children, all born in Hoosick, Rensselaer County, NY:

  1. Philetus SLADE, born 14 November 1860.
  2. Cora SLADE, born 29 July 1862 and living in 1914; married 8 September 1880 in Pittstown, Rensselaer County, NY to Isaac Warren BOVIE; had three children: Isaac Warren BOVIE, Jr.; Sarah Angeline BOVIE; and George White BOVIE.
  3. William SLADE, born 17 November 1865, died 16 November 1867.
  4. Sarah SLADE, born 28 April 1869 and living in 1914; married 21 November 1888 in Hoosick, NY to Martin C. LLOYD; had two children: Mabel LLOYD and Major J. LLOYD.
  5. Emma SLADE, born 24 April 1871, died 26 September 1902; unmarried.
  6. Nancy Ann SLADE, born 17 March 1873, living in 1914; unmarried.
  7. Kate Reynolds SLADE, born 1 December 1874, died 28 December 1906; unmarried.
  8. John Babcock SLADE, born 15 March 1876.
  9. Julia Bowen SLADE, born 11 March 1878, living in 1914; married John BELL.
  10. Mary Agnes SLADE, born 4 February 1880, died 10 February 1904; unmarried.
