Rome, March 5—Mrs. Georgia Ann Nicholas of 100 Arsenal Square
stricken
in the office of Dr. Ernest J. Weiss, died yesterday in the
municipal
ambulance taking her to Rome Hospital. Coroner Thomas
A. Cox,
who said she had been suffering from a heart condition, blamed
the death
on natural causes.
Mrs. Nicholas was 63, born in Greenville, Va., Sept 14, 1881, the daughter
of George
and Margaret Bailey. She was twice married, the first time to
George
Holbert and in 1928 at Constantia Center to George Nicholas.
He survives along with five daughters, Mrs. Bessie Thomas and Mrs.
Horton
Harle of Rome, Mrs. Hodge Mizer of Cleveland, Mrs. Irving
Nicholas
of Bernhard’s Bay, and Mrs. Fred Raell of Stanwix; two sons,
Edward
Holbert of Waynesboro, Va., and Glenn E. Nicholas of the U. S. Army
Air Forces
at Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Mrs. Emma Sweet of Greenville, Va.;
a brother,
Charles Bailey of Harrisonburgh, Va., and 10 grandchildren.
She will be buried in Constantia Center after a prayer service Sunday
at 2 p.m.
in Mrs. Raell’s home at Stanwix and a funeral service in the First
Methodist
Church conducted by the pastor, Rev. Dr. Alvin C. Goddard.

Thursday
Camden—William H. Coady, died Sunday at his home on the Hillsboro rd.,
He was
born April 22, 1880 at Constantia Center, a son of John and Etta
Dawley
Coady. On Sept 9, 1903 he was married to Jessie L. Beebe at Constantia
by the
Rev. H. H. Beam. The came to live in Camden in 1911 where he was
an
employee
of the S. H. Conant chair factory for many years.
He leaves two sons, Eri Coady, U. S. Navy, and Robert Coady of McConnellsville;
two daughters, Mrs. Walter Berry and Mrs. James Robinson both of Camden;
nine grandchildren; one brother, Leon Coady of Williamstown, and two sisters,
Mrs. Carleton Winn of Bernards Bay and Mrs. David Spooh of Panther Lake.
… Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Sylvan Beach—Nelson M. Richards, 72, of Constantia Center,
north of
Oneida Lake, died in his home Saturday. A retired railroad
man, he
had lived in Richland and Watertown while employed by
the New
York Central. He married Mary A. Dutcher in Constantia
Center
on Dec. 9, 1891.
Surviving are his wife, a son Earl of Watertown; two daughters: Mrs.
Pearl Brother
of Harrisville and Mrs. Clara Hall at home, and one
sister,
Mrs. Mary Haskins of Wyandotte, Mich.
Funeral
services will be in Watertown on Wednesday.

A native of West Monroe, Mr. Knight operated the Gilbert Hotel on
Oneida
Lake for several years and was later employed at the Armstrong

plant in Fulton.

honors.
