Williams dies
FULTON - Nelson A. Wil-
liams, 66, of Fulton RD 4 was
pronounced dead on arrival
yesterday at Lee Memorial
Hospital after at his home.
Born in South Onondaga, Mr.
Williams lived 40 years in the
Fulton area. He was the for-
mer manager of the Oswego
County Home, retiring in 1971.
Mr. Williams had also been the
Town of Palermo assessor 15
years.  He was a member of
Palermo United Methodist
Church, Granite Grange of Pa-
lermo, and Arbiet Lodge,
100F, Mexico.
Surviving are his wife, the
former Ruth Cole; 21 foster
children; a brother, Burdette
of Camillus, and five sisters,
Mrs. Blacnhe Napier of Cam-
illus, Mrs. Frankie Fenner of
Weedsport, Mrs. Elsie Bailey
and Mrs. Mildred Bailey, both
of Tully Valley, and Mrs. Flora
Mae Hill of Jackson, Mich.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m.
Sunday at the Foster Funeral
Home here, the Rev. Gerald
Schlernitzauer officiating.
Burial will be in South Onon-
daga Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9
p.m. tomorrow and 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funer-
al home, 910 Fay St.
