John Weston, the oldest contractor and builder in Syracuse, died yesterday morning at his home, No. 765 Montgomery Street, aged 84 years. Mr. Weston came to Syracuse in 1839 and made his home at 765 Montgomery Street, where he resided up to the time of his death, a (period?) of sixty- three years. He is survived by one son and three daughters,William Weston, Mrs Stephen R. Malcomb, Mrs. Charles Gage and Mrs. George H. Sears. He is also survived by four(teen?) grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was an attendant of St. Paul's Church.
