Albert Palen died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Henry Horsford,
West Hill, Marcellus, Aug. 26, aged 58 years, and was buried in the So.
Onondaga cemetery Friday. Mr. Palen has until a few years been a resident
of South Onondaga village. About three years since he and his youngest
son (Henry) removed from there to Minoa where for a year or more he was
engaged in market gardening and a meat market. He returned at the time
of his mothers death, and he was soon taken with Locomotor Ataxia from
the effects of which he died. He was a good neighbor and his funeral was
largely attended. Rev. C.W. Williams of that place officiating and H.S.
Jones and Son of Marcellus undertakers.
Survived by his wife, Mrs Georganna McManus Palen, Two daughters,
Mrs. Henry Horsford and Mrs. Fred Gifford, and three sons, Jay Palen, Bert
Palen and Henry Palen
