Mrs. Mary A. Malcomb, 80, a life long resident of Syracuse, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. Franklin Drumm, No. 245 Primrose Avenue. She was the widow of Stephen R. Malcomb, a veteran of the Civil War. Mrs. Malcomb was born in Syracuse September 11, 1839. She is survived by four sons, Stephen R. of Los Angeles and Charles T., William Walter and Frederick B. Malcomb, all of Syracuse, seven daughters, Mrs George Batzer of Eastwood, Mrs. Ella Bockoven of Los Angeles, Mrs. C.M. Kingsley of Santa Barbara, Mrs. C.D. Cate, Mrs. C. Franklin Drumm, Mrs. Clarence Patchett of Syracuse, Mrs. H.V. Wells of New York Mills; two sisters, Mrs. George H. Sears and Mrs. Charles L. Gage of Syracuse; one brother William Weston of Syracuse, and twenty eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Private funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock, Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Drumm in Primrose Avenue. Dr. H.H. Downey, pastor of Furman Street Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
