Syracuse Daily Journal, November 24, 1863, p. 4:

"Died. Joslin - In Fayetteville, Nov. 23d, Helen L. Joslin, wife of Dr. Hezekiah Joslin, of this city, aged 71 years and 24 days. Funeral services in Fayetteville, from the residence of H. H. Gage, Esq., on Thursday, Nov. 26th, at 9 o'clock A.M. The remains will be taken to Cicero for interment."

Dwight Bruce (Onondaga's Centennial, Vol. I. Boston: The Boston History Co., 1896, pp 296-297) writes an interesting account of Helen and her husband in which he notes that following their marriage: "They began housekeeping in a style quite beyond that of the ordinary pioneer. Mrs. Joslyn was a fine musician, and besides carpets and handsome furniture, possessed a piano, the first or one of the first in Onondaga county. It was made in London by G. Astor, a brother of John Jacob Astor, and is now in the possession of Dr. Joslyn's daughter, Mrs. Matilda Joslyn Gage, of Fayetteville."
