The People of the State of New York—To the Widow, heirs at law and next of kin to Thomas Hunt late of the town of Onondaga in the county of Onondaga, and State of New York, deceased, Greetings - - Whereas Solomon Hunt and Samuel Hunt, Executors named in the last Will and Testament of the said deceased: have offered said Will for Probate before John Fleming Justice Surrogate of the county of Onondaga; You are therefore hereby cited to be and appear before said Surrogate, at a Surrogates Court to be held in and for the said county of Onondaga, at the Surrogate’s Office in Manlius on Monday the third day of July next at ten o’clock in the forenoon of that day to attend the Probate of said will given under the hand and Seal of Office of said Surrogate, at Manlius in said county of Onondaga, this first day of June A.D. 1837

In the matter of proving the) Onondaga County : Jehiel Hall of the town of Onondaga in

Last will and Testament of ) the county of Onondaga, being duly sworn and examined

Thomas Hunt deceased.___ ) doth depose and say, that he this deponent was well acquainted with Thomas Hunt, late of the town of Onondaga in the county of Onondaga deceased. That this deponent was present as a witness and did see the said Thomas Hunt subscribe at the End thereof the instrument now produced and shown to this deponent purporting to be the last will and Testament of the said deceased bearing date of the ninth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and thirty five. That the said testator at the same time declared the instrument so subscribed by him to be his Last Will and Testament. That therefore the deponent and William Barber and Gaylord Hoskins subscribed their names at the End thereof as witnesses thereto, at the request of the testator and in his presence; and that the said testator at the time of Executing and publishing the said last Will and Testament, was of full age and of sound mind and memory, not under any restraint and was in all respects competent to make a last Will & Testament.

Sworn this 5^th day of July 1837 before me Jehiel Hall

Onondaga County : The said Jehial Hall, further deposeth, that he drew said instrument as and for the last Will and Testament of the said Thomas Hunt deceased; that immediately after the Execution thereof as aforesaid said deceased delivered said instrument to this deponent for safe keeping; that this deponent has safely kept the same, and that said instrument which is now shown to this deponent, is the same last Will and Testament; it not having been altered in any respect whatsoever since the Execution thereof as aforesaid-

In the name of God Amen I Thomas Hunt of the town of Onondaga and county and state of New York being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound memory blessed be Almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say First I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Anna Hunt to have the plase that I now live on being all of my Real Estate and all the household furniture and all the Interest of the money that is due to me which is to be paid yearly which is to be paid to her as long as she may remain my widow and then my real Estate and Household furniture to be divided between my Three Sons Solomon Hunt Samuel Hunt and David Hunt by those paying Bridget Crandal and Amy Boggs my two daughters Twenty five Dollars a peace which is fifty Dollars and as for the morgage that I hold against Vinson Boggs he is to pay my wife Anna Hunt the interest yearly till it becomes due then to be paid to my three Sons Solomon Hunt Samuel Hunt and David Hunt which is to be divided equal between them an as for the notes which I have when tha become due the money to divided between my three sons Solomon Hunt Samuel Hunt and David Hunt by thare paying my wife Anna Hunt the interest on the hole sumes yearly and as for my House and Wagon and Cutter and Harnss and Money that I have when my debts are paid if there should be any left to be divided between my three Sones Solomon Samuel and David Hunt and I do here by appoint Solomon Hunt and Samuel Hunt Executors of this my last Will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made in witness whereof I have herewith set my hand and Seal the ninth day of November in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and thirty five Signed Sealed Published and declared by the above named Thomas Hunt – to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as Witness in the presence of the testator - Thomas Hunt LS
