In fact, Charles W., age 62,
was still living on 8 June 1880 when the
1880 U.S. Census was taken, (See 1880 U.S. Census, Geddes, E.D. 174, p.
21).
I believe that the real
death date for Charles W. is
probably 20 June 1880 and this date matches with the death date given
in the "Cemetery Transcriptions from the NEHGS Manuscript Collections"
database.
