In the name of God, Amen! I John H. Clow of the Town of Athens Greene County, N. Y. being of sound mind and memory do hereby make, publish and declare this my last will and testament, in manner following, to wit: First. I order and direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid by my executor hereafter named out of my estate. Second. I give devise and bequeath to my wife Annie Clow all the property of which I may die seized, both real and personal and property of every name and nature, and to her heirs and assigns forever. Lastly. I do hereby nominate and appoint the aforesaid Annie Clow, my beloved wife executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 21 day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety eight.

We whose names are hereunto subscribed do certify that John H. Clow the testator subscribed his name to this instrument in our presence and in the presence of each of us and at the same time he declared in our presence and hearing that the same was his last will and testament, and requested us and each of us to sign our names thereto as witnesses to the execution thereof, and which we have done accordingly in the presence of the testator and of each other the day of the date of the said will..
