Rowe Family Cemetery

On an old mountain road that leads from the Game Farm Road to the Old Mountain House Road. Plot in fair condition with wire fence.
Nicholas Rowe died Feb 20, 1885 aged 94 yrs. U.S. veteran marker.
Catharine Sax, wife of Nicholas Rowe died April 22 1860 aged 60 yrs 4 mo 21 days
Simon Rowe died April 1 1910 aged 73 years
Mary Layman, wife of Simon Rowe died Sept 14, 1902 aged 60 yrs, 8 mo, 20 days
Catharine C., daughter of Henry and Sarah Timmerman died June 3 1865 aged 5 yrs.
Sarah E. Rowe, wife of Henry Timmerman died Dec 26 1865 aged 29 yrs.
John H. Rowe died Feb 11 1885 aged 72 yrs.
Mary J. Peer, wife of John H. Rowe died July 31 1908 aged 70 yrs.
The following names were on small stones about one foot square above ground, names cut in and blackened, there were four stones but one had shelled off so could not be read. I understand these were moved from a plot on Route 32 near Carson City when the state was making it into a state road.
