Burying ground on the Old Post Farm, farmer Rodman Palmer place. West side of Thru-Way, several feet from Thru-Way fence and 3/4 mile south of Brick School House Road bridge over the Thru-Way. Best way to it is - from the back of Mrs. Florence Bishop house, go straight east to the Thru-Way. Mrs. Bishop at this date lives on the Old Kings Road (County #47) south of where the High Falls Road (Town #6) meets (County #47). Burying ground in very poor condition, grown up with big trees. Some stones down and broken. Several rough stones no names. Underground cable line, Bell System, runs in front of burying ground. Pole #480 right by burying ground. Peter A. Post and wife Sally Ann Grant mentioned in Beers History of Greene Co. page 427, under #126.


Peter A. Post died Oct 7, 1866 aged 66 yrs, 10 mo., 2 days.

Sally Ann Grant, wife of Peter A. Post died Feb 27, 1869 aged 65 yrs, 11 mo. 2 days.

Peter Z. Post born Feb 24, 1831 died July 19, 1863.

Edgar, son of Peter A. and Sally Ann Post died March 13, 1844 aged 1 yr.

Sally Catherine, daughter of Peter A. and Sally Ann Post died Sept 15, 1830 aged 5 yrs, 10 mo, 13 days.
