From the Town of Athens: 

     Isaac Whitbeck VanSchaick  born 1817 NY State, died 1901. Mr. Van
     Schaick was a Member of the Wisconsin State Legislature. He was
     also a US Representative from Wisconsin. He is buried in Athens
     Cemetery.

From the Town of Cairo:

      Charles Howell Porter  born 1833 in NY State,  Died 1897.  Mr.
      Porter was a US Representative form Virginia 3rd District from
      1869-1873. He is buried in Cairo Cemetery.

From the Town of Catskill:

      John Adams born 26 Aug 1778 at Oak Hill, Greene County  Died 25
      September 1854 at Catskill, NY.  He was a Member of the NY State
      Assembly from 1812-1813.   Mr. Porter was also a US Representative
      of NY State 8th District.  He is buried in Thompson Street Cemetery,
      Catskill, NY.

       Henry Ashley born 19 Feb 1778 at Winchester, New Hampshire
       Died 14 Jan 1829 at Catskill, NY.  Mr. Ashley was a US
       Representative of NY State 11th District from 1825-1827. He is
       buried in Thompson Street Cemetery, Catskill.

       John Holdroyd Bagley, Jr.  born 26 Nov 1832 at Hudson, NY   Died
       23 Oct 1902 at Catskill.  He was a US Representative of NY State
       15th District from 1875-1877.  Mr. Bagley was also a Member of the
       NY State Assembly from 1883-1885.  He is buried in Catskill.

       Thomas Burrage Cooke born in Connecticut.  Buried in Catskill
       Village Cemetery.  He was a US Representative of NY State 5th
       District from 1811-1813. Mr. Cooke was also a Member of the NY
       State Legislature.

       Rufus H. King born at Rensselaerville, NY on 20 Jan 1820.  Died
       13 Sep 1890.  He is buried in the Catskill Village Cemetery. Mr.
       King was a US Representative of NY State 11th District from 1855 -
       1857.  He was also a Delegate to the Republican National
       Convention from New York State in 1868.

       John Ashley Griswold  born  18 Nov 1822 at Cairo, NY.  Died 22
       Feb 1902 Catskill, NY.  Burial was in Village Cemetery in Catskill.
       Mr. Griswold was a US Representative of NY State 13th District
       from 1869-1871.  He was also a Delegate to the Democratic National
       Convention from NY State in 1876. He was a Delegate to the NY
       State Constitutional Convention 17th District in 1894.

From the Town of Coxsackie:
 
   Richard McCarty was born in New York State in 1780. He died in
   1844.  Mr. McCarty was a US Representative from NY State's 8th
   District. He was buried in Adams Cemetery, Coxsackie.
 
   Dorrance Kirtland was born in Coxsackie the 28th of July 1770. He
   died the 23rd of May 1840 and is buried in the Old Coxsackie
   Cemetery. Mr. Kirtland was a US Representative of NY 8th District
   from 1817 to 1819.
 
   John Ely was born 1774 in Connecticut and died in 1849. He was a
   member of the NY State Legislature. Mr. Ely was also a US
   Representative of NY's 8th District from 1839-1841. He is buried in
   the Old Coxsackie Cemetery.
 
   Philip Arnold Goodwin was born in 1882 in NY State.  He died in
   1937. He was a US Representative from NY's 27th District from 1933
   to 1937.  Mr. Goodwin was buried in Riverside Cemetery
 
   Aaron VanSchaick Cockrane, a nephew of Isaac Witbeck VanSchaick,
   was born in NY state in 1858.  He died in 1943.  Mr. Cochrane was a
   US Representative of NY's 19th District from 1897 til 1901. He is
   buried in Riverside Cemetery.
   Judge Leonard Bronk was born in 1752 and died April 22nd 1828. He
   was a member of the State Assembly from 1787 to 1792. Mr. Bronk
   was also a New York State Senator in 1796. He also was Judge of
   the Court of Common Pleas being sworn in the 29th of March 1800.
   He is buried in the Family Farm Burying Grounds in Coxsackie,
   Greene Co, NY. His biography may be read on this site.
   Ambrose Baker, Esq. was born January 5, 1804. He died in Coxsackie
   on December 22, 1851. He and his wife Mary are buried in the
   Coxsackie Cemetery.  Mr. Baker was a NY State representative to the
   State Assembly in 1836 (Beer's History of Greene Co, NY page 51).
   His obituary in The Rochester Daily Democrat of December 23, 1851
   reads, "We regret to hear of the death of Ambrose Baker, Esq. of
   Coxsackie, which took place yesterday morning. Mr. Baker was a
   brother of Jason Baker, Esq of Brighton and was a Whig candidate for
   the Senator in the 10th district in the late election. He was extensively
   engaged in business and held in high esteem by a large circle of
   friends."  His wife Mary died January 23, 1855 at the age of 51y18d.
 
From the Town of Freehold:
 
   Perkins King  was born 12 Jan 1784 in New Marlboro, MA. He died
   on 29 Nov 1857. He was a member of the NY State Legislature in
   1827.  He was elected a US Representative of NY's 11th District from
   1805 to 1807.  He is buried in Old Leeds Cemetery.
 
From the Town of Palenville:
 
   Rufus Palen was born 25 Feb 1807 in Palenville. He died 26 Apr 1844
   in New York City.  Mr. Palen was a US Representative of NY's 7th
   District from 1839 to 1841. He is buried in the Old Cemetery in
   Palenville.
 
From the Town of Prattsville:
 
   Zadock Pratt  was born in New York State in 1790.  He died in 1871.
   He is buried in City Cemetery in Prattsville. He was a member of the
   NY State Legislature. He was also elected twice to be a US
   Representative. First from the 8th District from 1837 to 1839, then
   from the 11th District from 1843 to 1845.
