Linzey Family Cemetery
From, Volume #1, Cemetery Records of Old Burying Grounds in the Town of Catskill 1946-1962. This cemetery recorded in May 1962 by Dorothy and Walter Smith. Retyped by Celeste MacCormack.
Old Linzey plot on the grounds of the Catskill Game Farm. Plot is poor condition, brush not cut and fence down. A large plot and old, quite a few graves with just a piece of blue stone at head and foot. Some stones missing must be quite a few unmarked graves.
Cemetery retranscribed and validated by Sylvia and Ron Hasenkopf March 2009. Some corrections to the Smith transcription.
Cemetery is in fair condition, although numerous trees are growing within the boundaries of the cemetery and pushing many stones over. Some stones were buried and needed to be excavated.
