Deed between Henry and Sally Briggs and Polly Turney - 1831

This indenture made the eighteenth day of
October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty one
between HENRY BRIGGS and SALLY his wife, of the town of ___________ county of
Oswego and state of New York of the first part and POLLY TURNEY of the town of
Windom county of Greene and state aforesaid of the second part. Witnesseth that
the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one
hundred dollars money of account of the United States to them in hand paid by
the said party of the second part. The receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged hath
remised released and quit claimed and by these presents __________ ____________
and _________ remise release and quit claim unto the said party of the second
part in her actual possession now being and to her heirs and assigns forever.
All that piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the town of Windham
and county of Greene being the same premises owned and occupied by ROBERT M.
TURNEY and of which he died seized exceptions and recovering part
of said premises which the widow of the said Robert M. is entitled to by her
right! ___________ ___________ of the said lands of which the said Robert M.
died seized. Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversion and
reversions, remainder and remainders unto issues and profits thereof and all the
estate, right, title, interest __________ or demand whatsoever of the said party
of the first part either in law or equity of in and to the above
__________premises with the said hereditaments and appurtenances unto the said
party of the second part her heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof the
said party of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and
year first above written.
