Cairo—Nicholas T. Aprea, 21 of County Route 39, Round
Top, died Sept. 28, 2002, as the
result of an automobile accident.
Mr. Aprea was born in Kingston on March 25, 1981, and is the son of Gerald and Michelle (Decker) Aprea. He had been a resident of the Round Top area for the past 13 years. He was an auto mechanic at his father’s business, Aprea Automotive, in Round Top. He attended Cairo-Durham High School.
Nicholas is survived by his parents, Gerald and Michelle Aprea of Round Top; three brothers, Andrew, Anthony and Thomas Aprea; four sisters, Stephanie, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Claire Aprea of Round Top; his paternal grandparents, Louis and Rose Aprea; and many cousins and dear friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Hazel and Chester Decker.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend calling hours at the Richards Funeral Home, 383 Bross Street, Cairo, on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Novitate, Round Top. Interment will follow in the family plot of the St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Jewett—Laura Baker, 34, of Jewett, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002 at her residence.
Born Feb. 26, 1968, in Tulsa, Okla., she was the daughter of Clyde Baker and Rita Leslie (Schubert) McPeak.
She was a clerk, employed by Great American in Cairo.
Survivors include her stepfather, Michael McPeak; son, Joshua Malachi Spradlin, son, Dalton Matthew Spradlin; and a brother Wayne Allen Baker.
Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the Decker Funeral Home, 134 Main St., Windham.
Service will be conducted at noon at the funeral home, with Rev. Dianna Smith of the Jewett Presbyterian Church officiating.
Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Ashland.

Barbara A. Bush Teddy bear collector
Cherryfield, Maine—Barbara A. Bush, 73, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002 at an Ellsworth health care facility. She was born in Poughkeepsie on Sept. 1, 1929, the daughter of Charles and Anna (Walter) Godfrey.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Cherryfield for many years. She was an avid collector of teddy bears, which she donated to various charitable organizations for children. She was also a talented cross stitch artist. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James H. Bush, of Cherryfield; four daughters Linda Cook and her husband Robert of Sate College, Pa., Deborah Taylor and her husband James of Athens, Any Lloyd and her husband Lawrence of East Durham, and Patti Percoski and her husband Bernard of Altamont. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jeremy Taylor, David Taylor, Michelle McIlroy, Jessica Cook, Robert Cook III, Mandi Percoski and Matthew Percoski; one great-grandson Adam Cook; a sister-in-law, Martha Bush of Athens, and many cousins.

Gloria G. Nasuto Coxsackie resident
West Coxsackie—Gloria G. Nasuto, 57, of West Coxsackie, died on Monday afternoon, Sept. 30, 2002 at Albany Medical Center.
Born Feb. 11, 1945, in Queens, she was the daughter of William and Clara (Boucher) Herzog.
She was married July 5, 1969 in Ozone Park, Queens, to Nicholas Nasuto, who died Feb. 8, 1988.
Mrs. Nasuto had been employed at the Frangella Mushroom Plant in Ravena and also for LaCasa Restaurant in Selkirk.
She enjoyed donating cakes and fund-raising bake sales for the Coxsackie Rescue Squad.
She was a Coxsackie resident since 1970 and moved here from Brooklyn. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church.
Survivors include her sister, Edna Stark of Coxsackie; a nephew, Domenick Costanzo of Coxsackie; a niece, Elizabeth Herzog of Norfolk, Va., and a great-niece, Christine Costanzo of Coxsackie. Several cousins also survive.
Mrs. Nasuto was predeceased by her two brothers, Louis and William Herzog.
Calling hours will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Sopris Funeral Home Inc., Route 9W, West Coxsackie.
Services will be conducted 9 a.m. at the funeral home by the Rev. John Moyna.
Interment will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Coxsackie.

William Welker Palenville Fire Department life member
Hudson—William Welker, 82, formerly of Palenville, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002, at the Firemen’s Home in Hudson.
He was born Feb. 15, 1920 in Kiskatom. The son of the late William and Gertrude (Tosmey) Welker.
Mr. Welker served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He was a self-employed gardener and a life member of the Palenville Fire Department.
Surviving are several good friends including Dorothy O’Boye and Joseph Russel, both of Palenville. He was predeceased by his wife Marguerite.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Fireman’s Home Chapel, 125 Harry Howard Ave., Hudson, with Deacon Charles O’Neil officiating.
Interment will be in the Fireman’s Home Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bates & Anderson—Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green St., Hudson.

Doris Jean Miller Member Cairo-Durham Elks Lodge
South Cairo—Doris Jean Miller, 54, of 19 Ira Vail Road, South Cairo, died suddenly at home.
She was born Dec. 25, 1947 in Catskill, the daughter of the late Walter and Frances (Yager) Wolven.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the Cairo-Durham Elks Lodge and the Kiskatom Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include three sisters, Barbara A. Craw and husband Gordon L., both of Saugerties, Jane Freese of Kiskatom and Paula F. Strang of New Paltz; an aunt, Carolyn M. Yager of Catskill; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Miller was predeceased by her husband, Charles L. Miller, on March 29, 2002.
Calling hours will be 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Traver & McCurry Funeral Home, 234 Jefferson Heights, Catskill.
Services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Bertha Yetter Village Coffee Shoppe Owner
Hudson—Bertha Yetter, 95, of Catskill, died Monday evening, Sept. 30, 2002, at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson. She was born Oct. 5, 1906, in High Falls, Saugerties, the daughter of the late Franklin and Charlotte (Rowe) Simmons.
Mrs. Yetter was a long-time employee of Red’s Restaurant in Coxsackie. She later owned and operated the Village Coffee Shoppe in Catskill during the 1960’s, prior to her retirement.
Mrs. Yetter is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Patrick Angelo, both of Catskill; a grandson, Richard Angelo of Guilderland; a granddaughter, Karen A. Levinn of Gladstone, N. J.; two great-grandchildren, Jason C. Levinn and Sarah E. Levinn, both of Gladstone, N. J., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Traver & McCurry Funeral Home, 234 Jefferson Heights, Catskill. Father Michael Gorchov, rector at St. Luke’s Church of Catskill, will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Town of Catskill Cemetery.

Frances Bertone Future Mobile and Modular Homes co-owner
Albany—Frances Bertone, 76, of Bethel Ridge Road, Catskill, died while being embraced by her loving family Thursday evening, Oct. 3, 2002 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany. She was born June 23, 1926 in Manhattan, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Lucrezia Gimabrone.
Mrs. Bertone was the co-owner of Future Mobile and Modular Homes of South Cairo with her late husband Joseph who predeceased her on Oct. 17, 2001. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Cairo.
Mrs. Bertone is survived by two sons, Joseph Bertone Jr. of Purling and Steven Bertone of Latham; a daughter Lucille Bertone of South Cairo; a brother Joseph Giambrone of New Hyde Park; a grandson Joseph T. Bertone of Purling; a granddaughter Charles Bertone of Queens; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Relative and friends may call at the Traver & McCurry Funeral Home, 234 Jefferson Heights, Catskill on Monday from 3 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

George Guth World War II veteran
Freehold—George Guth, 81, of Warrenstein Road, Freehold, died Oct. 5, 2002 at Barnwell Health Facility, Valatie, after a long illness.
Mr. Guth was born in New York City, Nov. 28, 1920 and was the son of the late Jacob and Annabelle (Merritt) Guth.
During World War II, he served with the U. S. Army, he was also a member of the Carpenters Union No. 265 Local of Saugerties, a member of the East Durham American Legion, a member of the Catskill Elks 1341.
He was a lifetime member of the Cairo Hose Co. and a communicant of the Sacred Heart Church of Cairo and loved gardening.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years Catherine M. (Wenz) Guth of Freehold, a daughter of Susan L. Esteves of Ga.; a sister, Anna Tween of New York City; a grandson, Tracy Gingrass of Fla.; two great-grandchildren, William and Michael Gingrass.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 too 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Richards Funeral Home, 383 Bross St., Cairo.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the Sacred Heart Church, Cairo. Rev. Jeremiah Nunan, will be the celebrant.
Interment will follow in the family plot of the Round Top Cemetery.

Elizabeth C. Ross Citibank employee
Catskill—Elizabeth C. Ross, 72, of 5 Koepple Ave., Catskill, died suddenly Thursday, Oct. 3 in Albany.
She was born May 25, 1930 in Staten Island, the daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine (Lynch) Connors.
Mrs. Ross was an employee at Citibank for over 41 years prior to her retirement. She was a graduate of Fordham School of Commerce.
Formerly of Staten Island and Brooklyn, she has been a Catskill resident since 1988.
Mrs. Ross was a communicant at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Catskill. She was a member of the Princeton Club and Athens Garden Club.
She was a Master Gardner with the Cornell Cooperative Extension; and was a former member of the Catskill Garden Club. She truly enjoyed extensive worldwide travel, Photography, her gardens and cooking.
Survivors include her husband Leo J. Ross, of Catskill; three nephews, Robert Connors, James Connors and William Connors, all of Staten Island; a niece, Sharon Halm of West Chester, Penn.
Mrs. Ross was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Connors.
Funeral services and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Bridge St., Catskill. The Rev. John J. Murphy, Pastor, will be officiating.
Private cremation will be performed at Park View Crematory in Schenectady.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Patrick’s Academy. Envelopes will be available on the day of the funeral.

Dorothy Lorraine Steenburn Catskill resident
Catskill—Dorothy Lorraine Steenburn, 72, of Catskill, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002 at Albany Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Miss Steenburn was born in Catskill on Dec. 23, 1929 to the late Floyd and Ruth Denniston Steenburn.
She is survived by her son, Gary W. Steenburn of Claverack; daughter-in-law, Shanda Steenburn and their two daughters; Samantha Jo and Amara Jae Steenburn of Claverack; one brother, Ronald Steenburn of Clifton Park and two sisters; Donna Mosher of Catskill and Evelyn Franklin of Sholow, Ariz., as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10 in the Remembrance Chapel of the Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home at 139 Jefferson Heights in Catskill with Rev. Keith Warner, pastor of the Westleyan Church in Catskill officiating.
Calling hours will be 10 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
Interment will be conducted in the Catskill Rural Cemetery.

Catskill—Antonio “Chico” Torres, 74, of Catskill, died Thursday, Oct. 3, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, after a long illness.
He was born Aug. 22, 1924 in Humacao, Puerto Rico.
Mr. Torres was a member of the Mt. Tabor A. M. F. Zion Church in Catskill. He belong to the Usher Board; The Men’s Chorus; and was a Class Leader.
Mr. Torres was a Commissioner at the Catskill Housing Authority Board of Directors.
Mr. Torres was an employee of the Senior Companion Program at the Columbia-Greene Long Term Care Division in Catskill until his illness forced him to quit.
Survivors include his best friend of many years, John Julius of Catskill; also close friends Frances Dixon of Catskill, Tom Every of Catskill; and the Rev. Moses Carter of Highland Falls.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the Mt. Tabor A.M.E. Zion Church, Water St., Catskill. The Rev. Randolph Freeman, Pastor, will be officiating.

Northport, Fla.—Henrietta Corrattie, 79, of Northport Fla., died Oct. 5, 2002 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Sarasota where she had been a patient.
Mrs. Corratti was born in the Bronx on Nov. 27, 1922, to the late Salvatore and Sebastina Anna Marrone Randazzo.
She is survived by her sister, Patricia Lewis of Shirley, L. I. and four cousins: Lucy, Gloria, Rosari and Vincent Randazzo.
She was predeceased by her son, Vincent Corratti on Jan. 29, 1991 and husband Cosmo “Chippy” Corratti on May 14, 1995.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick’s R. C. Church with interment following in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to call at the Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home at 139 Jefferson Heights in Catskill at 1 p.m. prior to the funeral Mass. Mildred Meringolo Born in Italy
Medusa—Mildred Meringolo, 86, of Medusa, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany.
She was born Carmella Anzalone on June 6, 1916 in San Cataldo, Sicily in Italy, daughter of the late Sam and Mickelina “Russo” Anzalone.
Mrs. Meringolo owned a candy shop and sandwich shop in Brooklyn prior to moving to Medusa 47 years ago with her beloved husband Thomas to raise their family.
She made great meatballs and she loved her family and they loved her. She also loved playing bingo and she would travel anywhere on the North American continent to play.
She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church of Greenville.
Mrs. Meringolo was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Meringolo; a brother John Intriglia; and two sisters Jennie Anzalone and Josie Sciretta.
Surviving are a son, Thomas Meringolo of Medusa; a daughter, Helen Gambino and her husband Frank of Saugerties; a son, Edward Meringolo and his wife Katie of Sarasota, Fla., a son, John Meringolo of Medusa; a son, Robert Meringolo and his wife Jody of South Westerlo; a daughter, Sally Parker and her husband, Lewis of Medusa, a sister, Sally Opletal of Rockaway Beach, N.Y.; and a brother Vincent “Jimmy” Intriglia of Phoenix, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday from the Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 Route 81, Greenville.
Funeral services will be conducted 8:30 p.m. Thursday from the funeral home, with a 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church in Greenville.

Murial Staunch Retired Freehold postal clerk
Albany—Murial Staunch, 84, of Freehold, died at Albany Medical Center on Oct. 7, 2002. She was born on May 19, 1918, daughter of the late William and Catherine (Connors) Stotesbury. She was a retired postal clerk, having worked at the Freehold Post Office for 18 years until 1984.
She was an active member of the Freehold Congregational Christian Church, a member of the Freehold Ladies Society, the Greenville American Legion Pots No. 291 Ladies Auxiliary and the Freehold Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. Her husband Joseph Staunch, Sr. predeceased her on March 8, 2002.
Survivors include her children, Joseph Staunch Jr. and his wife Michelle, Linda Macpherson and her husband Duncan, Sally Staunch and Bonnie Staunch, all of Freehold; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by a brother Clinton Stotesbury.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 Route 81, Greenville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Interment will be in the Freehold Cemetery. Those who desire may contribute in her memory to the Freehold Congregational Christian Church.

Catskill—Anita Teetsel, 86, of 51 Wildwing Park, Catskill, died suddenly Thursday Oct, 3, 2002 at home. She was born Oct. 19, 1915 in Durham, the daughter of the late John and Henrietta (Reed) Hull.
Mrs. Teetsel was predeceased by her husband, Elbert J. Teetsel on June 21, 1983; and 12 brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Teetsel is survived by a son, Eldon J. Teetsel of Phoenix, Ariz., two daughters, Laura Carmean of China Grove, N. C., and Brenda Teetsel of Catskill; two brothers, Harold Hull of Cherry Hill and Ralph Hull of Oak Hill; one sister, Wilma Hicks of Ballston Lake; four grandchildren, Aaron Thompson, Bethany Rehme, Adam Carmean and Keturah Carmean; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Private cremation was performed at Park View Crematory in Schenectady. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7 at the First Reformed Church, Main Street, Catskill. The Rev. David Tipple officiated.

Louis Gerrain Operated Athens Marine Center
Athens—Louis A. Gerrain, 85, a lifetime resident of Brick Row, Athens, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2002 at St. Peter’s Hospital, Albany, after a short illness.
He was born in Athens, June 21, 1917, and was the son of the late Matteo and Vincenza (Zumpano) Gerrain.
Mr. Gerrain and his wife Jeanette built and operated the Athens Marine Center (now Hagar’s Harbor) for many years, after his retirement as a conductor for the New York Central Railroad.
He was a member and past president of the Athens Paddock Club, and an exempt member of the Mackawomuc Fire Company. These two organizations will hold a joint service in his memory at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was also a member of the Catskill Elks Lodge No. 1341, a past chairman of the Board of Directors of the Greene County Hotel, Restaurant and Tavern Association, a past trustee of the Athens Rural Cemetery Association, and a life member of the Hudson River Waterfowl Association.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Kimble of Saugerties; a son, Louis J., Gerrain of East Chatham; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a dear friend, Jean Krause of Albany; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Mr. Gerrain was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph Garrain and Frank Garrain; and three sisters, Theresa Perry, Assunta Greco and Elvira Stackpoole.
Calling hours will be 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Richards Funeral Home, 28 North Vernon St., Athens.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Athens, The Rev. Richard Doyle, pastor, will be the celebrant.
Interment will follow in the family plot of the New Athens Cemetery, next to his wife of 50 years, Jeanette G. (Doll) Garrain, who predeceased him in 1988.

Castleton—Arthur H. Hartmuller, 85, of Bayberry Drive, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2002 at Albany Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Sayville, N. Y., he had been a resident of the Capital Region for many years.
He was a member of the Van Rensselaer Lodge F & AM No.87, director and secretary of Masonic Medical Research Laboratory from 1995 to the present, Junior Grand Warden, Grand Lodge of New York 1990-1992, and Past District Deputy Grand Master, Albany District 1987-1988, and Past Patron of Eastern Star.
Mr. Hartmuller worked in education for 34 years including Superintendent of Schools for several districts, completing his career with working for the New York State Education Department Bureau of Non-public Schools Services from 1975-1979.
He was also a member of many community educational and political organizations.
Survivors include beloved wife Jeannette (Young) Hartmuller of Castleton; his daughters, Jeanne and her husband, Thomas Swain of Brentwood, Tenn., Debra and her husband, Ernest DelDuchetto of Syracuse; and his brothers Roger and his wife Vera of Clark, N.J., and William and his wife Marge of Englewood, Calif.; five grandchildren, Jaime and Marley DelDuchetto of Syracuse, Kristine and Kimberly Swain of Denver, and Marc Swain of Nashville, Tenn., and four nieces and three nephews.
Mr. Hartmuller was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Jeanne (Riffland) Hartmuller.
Funeral services will be held noon Thursday from the Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer.
Calling hours will be prior to the service from 10 a.m. to noon.
Interment will be in the Brick Church Cemetery, New Hempstead, N.Y.

Catskill—Shirley Marie Patterson, 89, of Catskill, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002 at Eden Park Nursing Home where she had been a resident since 1997.
She was born Aug. 28, 1913 in Catskill, the daughter of the late Joseph and Jeanette (Van Loan) Lyons.
A graduate of Catskill High School, she worked at the Atlanta Knitting Mills in Catskill and later retired form IBM in Kingston.
Survivors include a son, Robert De Santis of Simi Valley, Calif.; son, Donald C. Duntz of Chicago; son, Ronald S. Duntz of Fort Myers, Fla.; half-brother, William Lyons of Margate, Fla.; half-brother, Edward Lyons of Nevada; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A prayer service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at the Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home at 139 Jefferson Heights in Catskill with clergy from St. Patrick’s Church officiating.
Calling hours will be 1 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the prayer service.
Interment will be in the Town of Catskill Cemetery.

Matthew D. Tucker Mechanic at Junior Speedway
Earlton—Matthew D. Tucker, 19, died suddenly Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002, of injuries sustained in an ATV accident.
He was born in Albany on July 8, 1983.
Mr. Tucker worked as a mechanic at Junior Speedway. He was a member of the South Bethlehem United Methodist Church. He was well-mannered and polite. He enjoyed the outdoor life, drawing, music, comedy and the company of friends.
Survivors include his parents, Mark J. and Tammy Tucker; brothers, Mark J. Tucker Jr., and Joseph R. Tucker; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Tucker Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Homer E. George V. Conine Retired Irving Trust Bank security employee
Albany—George V. Conine, 81, a Catskill native, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002 at the VA hospital in Albany where he had been a patient since Oct. 2.
Mr. Conine was born in Catskill on Feb. 14, 1921, to the late Jacob and Mary Ryan Conine. He graduated from St. Patrick’s Academy in 1941 and enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard serving a Water Tender Second Class on the U. S. S. Sandusky in Norfolk as well as in Milwaukee, Chicago, Washington, Seattle, Tacoma and Mt. Rainier overseeing the Pacific Fleet of the U. S. Navy.
Upon his discharge in 1946, Mr. Conine went to work for Standard Oil and retired from Irving Trust where he was a bank security. He and his wife, the former Marie Lynch, moved to Catskill where they were avid Hudson River Enthusiasts and enjoyed their home on the lower Catskill Creek and Dutchmen’s Landing.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Oct. 11 at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, with interment following in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Friends and relatives are invited to call at the Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home at 139 Jefferson Heights in Catskill on Thursday, from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Friday at 10 a.m. prior to the funeral Mass.
Mr. Conine is survived by his nephew, Thomas Hartnett of Albany; six nieces: Susan DeNero of Jackson, N. J., Mary McCarthy and Christine McCarthy of Brielle, N. J., Joan Ninivaggie of the Bronx and Clair McNerney of Elmira. He is also survived by many cousins including: Ella Bohnert, Dorothy Dedrick and Gary Bohnert, all of Catskill, Theresa Van Schaack and Jeanette Van Schaack of Weehawken, N. J., Valerie Fortman, Eugene Fortman and William Fortman III of Cairo.
He was predeceased by his sister Catherine Corine on May 19, 1991 and his wife, Marie Lynch Conine on June 1, 1992.

Albany—Eleanor Daniels, 75, of Albany, formerly of Coxsackie, heard the voice of Jesus calling and left her worldly cares behind on Tuesday evening, Oct. 8, 2002. She was born in Coxsackie July 7, 1927, the daughter of the late John and Dicy (Breedlove) Winbush. She was the wife of James Daniels and later Lennie Roberts; both predeceased her.
Mrs. Daniels was a senior clerk for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance in Albany until her retirement in 1983. She was a member of the Metropolitan NT Mission Baptist Church, served on the board of directors of the Trinity Institute and Homer Perkins Center, Inc. She was a member of the Mystic Chapter No. 11 O.E.S., the Ladies Auxiliary of the D.M. Hamilton Steamers in Coxsackie, a senior warden of the Alpha Couth No. 8 Heroines of Jericho and a Greene County Democratic Elections Inspector.
She is survived by her loving family. Her daughters: Geraldine Porter of Boston, Donna Bell of Albany, Ramona Bishop of Albany, and Julia Roberts of Catskill. Her sons: James Daniels of Chicago and Lennie Daniels of Coxsackie. She will be sadly missed by her three sisters, Carol Hill of Philadelphia, Catherine Buchanan of Albany and Edith Corbett of New York City. She has joined her son John Daniels, her brothers George Breedlove, James Windbush and sister Dorothy White in eternity. Her nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends are left to mourn.
A service to commemorate her life will be conducted at noon on Monday, Oct. 14, 2002 at her beloved Metropolitan N.T. Mission Church, 105 2nd St., Albany, Interment will held immediately after in the Riverside Cemetery, Coxsackie. The Rev. Joseph A. Hopkins will officiate. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may call at the church after 11 a.m. the morning of the service.
The family has graciously requested that memorial donations to honor Mrs. Daniels be sent to the Metropolitan N.T. Mission Church, 105 2nd St., Albany. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Sopris Funeral Home Inc., Route 9W Coxsackie.

She was born in Syracuse on April 26, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Thomas P. and Nancy (Strong) Scott.
She is survived by her son, Lars White of Catskill; her daughter, Erin (White) Alfred of Purling; her brother, James A. Scott of California; two sisters, Anne McWatt of Seneca Falls and Theresa Scott of Connecticut; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She has been an area resident since 1973 and loved to cook, bake and crochet.

Coxsackie—Bertha P. Eaton, 93, formerly of 55 Lafayette St., Coxsackie, and the Sarah Philips Home, Catskill died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2002 at Community Hospice at Columbia Memorial Hospital, Hudson, after a long illness.
She was born Oct. 3, 1909 in Aalen, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Katherine (Maier-Helmer) Helmer.
She was a long time resident of Coxsackie and a member of the Coxsackie United Methodist Church.
During her early years was a practical nurse and was employed by the Hopewell Manor Nursing Home of Coxsackie. She was also a cook for the Coxsackie School District.
Survivors include her son, Earl and daughter-in-law Kathryn Eaton and two granddaughters, Mrs. Stephen (Emily) Cain and Kimberly Eaton.
Mrs. Eaton was predeceased by her husband Louis Eaton.
Private cremation took place at the Albany Rural Crematory in Manands.

Mrs. Cooke was a member of the First Baptist Church of Westerlo. She was a saleslady at Blue Churn Country Store in South Westerlo and a homemaker.

Lester I. Tuttle Truck driver for 30 years
Windham—Lester I. Tuttle, 68, of Ashland, died Monday, Oct. 14, 2002, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany.
He was born on Oct. 29, 1933, in Ashland to Herbert and Mildred (Hoyt) Tuttle. He married Dixie (Saltman) Tuttle on Feb. 14, 1977.
He is survived by his wife, Dixie of Ashland, and his siblings, Richard Tuttle of Marrietta, Ohio, Virginia Tuttle Shaw of Asheville, N. C., Howard Tuttle of Ashland and Diane Tuttle Miller of San Francisco. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was a truck driver for 30 years, working for Navajo Trucking and later for Arkansas Best Freight. Following his retirement from trucking, he worked at Windham Mountain (Ski Windham) for 19 years.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002 at 1 p.m. at Decker Funeral Home, Main Street, Windham, with the Rev. Maybelle Renzi of the Ashland United Methodist Church officiating.

Albany—Evelyn F. Weisberg, 87, of the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home in Albany, died Saturday evening, Oct. 5, 2002 at the nursing home. Mrs. Weisberg was born in New York City and resided for more than 30 years in Lexington. She later moved to the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home. She and her husband were proprietors of Camp Lexington Center for Performing Arts as well as Art Awareness.
She was married to Herman Weisberg until his passing, She is survived by a daughter, Lauren Savage and her husband Richard of Niskayuna, and a son Judd Weisbert of Lexington. She was a sister of Norman Doctorow of Riverdale and Doris Tillett of New York City. She was the grandmother of Jacob and Erin Savage.

Athens—Margrette Maria Lo Frisco, 90, of Athens, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2002 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital.
She was born in New York City on Oct. 29, 1911, daughter of the late Andrew and Mimi (Burruso) Schiro.
She was married to Joseph Lo Frisco on March 2, 1930.
Mrs. Lo Frisco was a seamstress and a homemaker and together with her husband, Joe, she owned and operated The White Swan Inn, a boarding house, tavern and dance hall of Schoharie Turnpike.
She loved gardening, knitting, crocheting, cooking, canning, target shooting and she especially loved to camp.
Mrs. Lo Frisco was a communicant of the St. Patrick’s Church in Catskill.
Survivors are her son, Lenard (Lee) Lo Frisco of Athens; and four daughters, Josephine Olivett of Port Ewen, N.Y., Lorretta Fenwich and her husband, Bob of Oceanside, Calif.; Margaret Oldham of Athens; Barbara Lo Frisco of Latham; a brother Joseph Schiro of Miss.; a sister, Cecilia Klages of Staten Island, N.Y.; 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lo Frisco was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Lo Frisco, and two sisters, Enis Humburg and Josephine Ventriglia.

Prattsville—Harold A. Macintyre, 85, of Prattsville died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002 at his residence.
He was born in Portchester, N.Y., on Dec. 28, 1916 to James and Minnie (Pease) Macintyre.
Mr. Macintyre was married for 62 years to his wife Louise, on March 29 of this year.

Morton G. Van Hoesen Former Executive Director NYS Commission of Corrections at Coxsackie Correctional Facility
Coxsackie—Morton Grant Van Hoesen, 85, of Coxsackie, died Saturday, Oct. 19, at his residence following a brief illness.
Mr. Van Hoesen was born in Athens on July 5, 1917 to the late William Morton and Lena Powell Van Hoesen.
A graduate of the Catskill High School and Hartwick College, he made corrections his career having worked his way up to Executive Director of NYS Commission of Corrections at Coxsackie Correctional Facility. He retired from the position in 1974.
As well as being a Mason, he was a devoted member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Athens serving as a Council member and Church Council President.
Survivors include his four children: William D. Van Hoesen of Mary Esther, Fla.; M. Grant Van Hoesen of Athens; James L. Van Hoesen of Castlerock, Colo.; and Doris J. Fritz of Wincester, Mass.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his sister, Mary Van Hoesen of Schenectady; two brothers, John Van Hoesen of Newburgh and Ralph E. Van Hoesen, Sr., of Catskill in addition to several nieces and nephews.

Gladys Burghardt Seamstress
Gladys Burghardt, 76, of Athens, died Monday, Oct. 21, at her residence following a long illness.
Mrs. Burghardt was born in Jewett on Oct. 26, 1925 and worked as a seamstress at Pensco, a former garment manufacturing company in Catskill.
She was the wife of Harold Burghardt, whom she married in 1977.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Burghardt of Athens; son, Nelson Higgins of Athens and Mrs. James (Joanne) Whittaker of Leeds; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Goldie Osborn of Catskill and brother, Clifford Speenburgh of Oneonta; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Burghardt was predeceased by her son, George Higgins in 1933 and 10 siblings.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home, 139 Jefferson Heights in Catskill.

Catskill—Marilyn A. Holliday, 59, of 17 Walnut Street, Catskill, died Friday, Sept. 20 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson.
Born June 21, 1943 in Catskill, she was the daughter of Mary Ann (Furyck) Cotich of Catskill, and the late Anthony M. Cotich, Sr.
A lifelong Catskill resident, Marilyn was a member of both St. Patrick’s church and St. Luke’s Church of Catskill. She was predeceased by her husband Charles E. Holliday Jr. on July 8, 1996 and a brother, Anthony M. Cotich Jr.
Besides her mother, Marilyn is survived by two sons, Jeffrey C. Holliday and Joel A. Holliday, both of Catskill; a daughter-in-law, Lori Holliday of Catskill; a brother, Stephen P. Cotich of West Coxsackie; one granddaughter, Kaylyn Nicole Holliday of Catskill; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 at Traver & McCurry Funeral Home, 234 Jefferson Heights, Catskill. The Rev. John J. Murphy, Pastor at St. Patrick’s R. C. church of Catskill will be officiating. Interment will be 9 a.m. Saturday at the Town of Catskill Cemetery.

West Conesville—Tomaz Kotarba, 43, of West Conesville, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2002 at his residence.
Born on May 11, 1959 in Krakow, Poland, he was the son of Zofia Sanocka and the late Jan Kotarba.
Mr. Kotarba was a self employed artistic blacksmith, and owned the Tomaz Kotarba Iron Works in West Conesville.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his former wife, Margaret of Great Barrington, Mass., two sons, Andrew and Thomas and his best friend Arthur Gazdowski.

Cairo—John H. Stockert, 67, of 77 Susan Lane, South Cairo, died Sunday, Oct. 20 at home, after a long illness.
He was born April 1, 1935 in Staten Island, the son of the later George and Margaret (Tobin) Stockert.
John was an employee at Egers Health Care in Staten Island for over 19 years prior to his retirement. He has been a South Cairo resident since 2000.
Mr. Stockert is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carmen (Reyes) Stockert of South Cairo; three sons John J. Stockert of New Jersey, Robert Stockert of South Cairo, and Daniel Stockert of South Cairo; two daughters, Mary Davis of Massachusetts and Dawn Vega of South Cairo; two brothers, Robert Stockert of South Cairo and William Stockert of New Jersey; a sister Rosemary Boutcher of Staten Island; 22 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Private cremation was preformed at Park View Crematory in Schenectady. Interment will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Staten Island at he convenience of the family.

Earlton—Anthony Camera Jr., 77, of Potic Mountain road, Earlton, died suddenly, Tuesday, Oct. 22 at Albany Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 30, 1925 in Albany, the son of the late Anthony and Angelina (Memole) Camera Sr.
Mr. Camera served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of World War II.
He worked for the railroad and Postal Service prior to entering the insurance industry.
Mr. Camera was employed by the Traders and Mechanics Insurance Company and in the 1970’s joined with the Commercial Mutual Insurance Company in Catskill, where he served as president until his retirement in 1992.
Mr. Camera also served as a member on the Bank of Greene County Board of Directors until the year 2000.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Ellen Camera-Nardilillo of Santa Clara County, Calif., Anne Lewis and husband, Robert of Virg.; Patricia Camera-Davenport and husband, William of Green County; a sister, Marie DeBarbieri of Latham; three grandchildren, Robert A. Lewis and Catherine M. Lewis of Virg.; Jordan Davenport of Athens; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Camera was predeceased by his wife, Catherine Camera on Aug. 14, 1991; and two sisters, Martha O’Toole and Rosemary Frederick.

Hudson—Katherine L. Vincent, 86, of Route 9, Hudson, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2002, at Eden Park Nursing Home in Hudson.
Born Feb. 16, 1916 in Hudson, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Adalgisa (D’Inguillo) Leggieri.
Mrs. Vincent was a member of the St. Mary’s Church in Hudson, the Hudson Elks 797 Ladies Auxiliary, and former member of the Columbia Golf and Country Club.
Surviving are a son, Curtis Vincent Jr., of Claverack; two daughters, Keven McCuire of Marlboro, Ulster County and Ellen Crouse of South Cairo; seven grandchildren; Michael McGuire, Matthew Vincent, Daniel Vincent, Jessica Crouse, and Julia Crouse; two brothers, Gerald Leggieri of Valatie and A. Rudolph Leggieri of Claverack; two sisters, Margaret Harms of Hudson and Maria West of Claverack; and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Curtis Vincent, Sr. and a sister, Celeste Kearney, died previously.

The Rev. Charles Flach Minister for 50 years in N. Y. and Africa
Greenville—The Rev. Charles Flach went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 22, 2002 at 3p.m. at his residence at the age of 88. He ministered over 50 years in New York State and Africa.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Flach; one daughter, Esther Florez; and three sons, John, David, and James Flach. He also leaves 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren. His surviving sisters and brothers are Rose Klob, Louse Seaburg, Elizabeth Harris, Joseph Flach and Fred Flach.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given for an Assemblies of God Organization. “The African Children” or toward the Alcove Church Roof Fund.

Richard Celentano Former Greenville Central School District employee
South Cairo—Richard Anthony Celentano, 49, of McLaren Road Extension, South Cairo, died Friday morning, Oct. 25, 2002 at home. He was born July 19, 1953 in Catskill, the son of Rudolph Celentano of Catskill and the late Barbara DiDonato Clenetano.
Mr. Celentano was an employee of the Greenville Central District School. He enjoyed fixing guitars and working on his model airplanes. He loved driving a bus and enjoyed the children as much as his job.
Mr. Celentano is survived by his wife, Deborah (Hopper) Celentano of South Cairo; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Valerie Celentano of Bath, Maine; two daughters, Tammy Celentano of Greenville and Barbara J. Whille and husband Ronald, both of South Belmar, N.J.; four grandchildren, Deanna Macarelli, Kayla Macarelli and Matthew Macarelli, all of Greenville, and Anthony P. Whille of South Belmar, N. J.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Chapel Hill, N. C.—Arthur Frederick Seeber, 85, died Friday evening, Oct. 25, 2002 at Alterra Clare Bridge of Chapel Hill after a long illness.
Born Sept. 22, 1917 in Hudson, he was the son of the late Frederick W. and Anna W. Hickey Seeber.
Mr. Seeber moved to Durham in 1993 and joined Holy Infant Catholic Church. He was an active member, who was extremely generous with his time and talents.
A graduate of the U. S. Merchant Marine Academy in 1942, Mr. Seeber lived in Richmond, Virginia most of his life most of his married life.
He was employed by Westinghouse Electric Corp. for 32 years, where he worked as a mechanical engineer overseeing power plant construction.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Rozette Seeber of Chapel Hill, N. C.; five sons, Allen J. Seeber and wife Barbara of Washington D. C.; Gary E. Seeber and wife, Delores of Colonial Beach, Va.; Jeffrey M. Seeber and wife, Candace, of Woodbury, MN.; Brian R. Seeber of Orlando, Fla.; Kevin N. Seeber of Richmond, Va.; one sister, Ora Seeber Knutty of Rocklin, Ca.; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Phoeniz, Ariz.—William M. “Marty” Wagner, 76, of Phoenix, Ariz., died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002 at the Hospice of the Valley in Glendale, Ariz.
Born Sept. 28, 1926 in Bethlehem, Penn., son of the late Martin H. and Anna Pulley Wagner.
Mr. Wagner was a graduate of Bethlehem High School in Bethlehem, Pa.
He served our nation during World War II in the U. S. Army in Germany, France, Austria. Following the war he continued serving the military attending Anti-aircraft and Guided Missile School at Ft. Bliss, Texas.
He was an electronics engineer and during his career worked for General Electric, ITT, and Marpac. He was retired.
Mr. Wagner was a resident of Phoenix since 1989 moving there from California and a resident of Coxsackie, from 1969-1980.
Survivors include his former wife Charlotte Stark of Albany, and his children; Paula Mueller of Climax, Barry Wagner of Stamford, N.Y., Jeffrey Wagner of Stow, Ohio; Julianne Fuetes of Fullerton, Calif., Diane Weins of Middletown, Ohio, and Pamela Delahouse of La Habra, Calif.; three brothers, Robert Wagner of Center Valley, Penn.; Harry Wagner of Bethlehem, Penn.; Harry Wagner of Bethlehem, Penn.; and John Wagner of Dodge City, KS, his sister, Nancy Andree of Athens, Texas, 15 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wagner was predeceased by his son, William M. Wagner Jr. on Aug. 1, 1995.

Saugerties—Charles R. Kaiser, 75, of Hilltop Road, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002 at the Kingston City Hospital in Kingston after a short illness.
Born Dec. 13, 1926, in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Robert and Katherine Filsinger Kaiser.
Mr. Kaiser was employed for more than 25 years for the U. S. Postal System serving as a postmaster in the Connelly Post Office. He retired in 1992.
An avid woodworker, he owned and operated Kaiser Krafts for several years. He was a former member of the Round Top Volunteer Fire Company, the Catskill Elks Lodge No. 1341 and a former member of the VFW in Cairo.
Survivors include his wife, the former Joan Polsinello; a son, Chuck Kaiser of Round Top; a daughter, Sandy Misevcis of Catskill; a stepdaughter, Christine Espinosa of Lake Katrine; three stepsons, Frederick Warden and Patrick Warden, both of Coxsackie, and Thomas Warden, of Cheyenne. He is also survived by four grandchildren and six stepgrandchildren.
His funeral procession will form 11:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home in Saugerties, corner of John and Lafayette Streets, thence to the Katsbaan Reformed Church where at noon his funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. William Sacher, pastor.

Hudson—Ronald S. Strang, 46, of Joslen Blvd., Greenport, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2002, at Albany Medical Center.
Born Sept. 25, 1956 in Rhinebeck, he was the son of Raymond W. and Margaret “Peggy” (Scholl) Strang of Hudson.
He served in the Army National Guard from 1976 until 1994. Mr. Strang worked in the assembly department of Acme Kitchenettes for the last 13 years.
In addition to his parents, surviving are a daughter, Dawn Louise Strang of Hudson; two brothers, Richard Strang and Lonnie Strang, both of Hudson; a sister, Donna Strang of North Carolina; his girl-friend, Bettina Bell of Catskill; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Keith Strang.

Palenville—Bobby L. Schoolcraft, aged 53 years, of Kaaterskill Avenue, Palenville, died Oct. 27, 2002 at home after a long illness.
He was born in Porter, Clay County, W. Va., on April 19, 1949, and was the son of the later William (Toldie) and Gladys (Juanita Nichols) Schoolcraft.
Mr. Schoolcraft had been an area resident since 1978. Prior to his retirement in 1978. Prior to his retirement he was a coal miner in West Virginia.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, Nov. 1, at 10 a.m. at the Richards Funeral Home, 383 Bross St., Cairo, with the Rev. Retta Lykens, pastor of the Cairo United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will follow in the family plot of the St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Catskill.
His wife, Madeline Schoolcraft, predeceased him in 1999.
Survivors include three daughters, Juanita of Ft. Myers, Fla., Hennel of West Virginia and Danielle Schoolcraft of Catskill; a brother, William Schoolcraft of Cementon; four sisters, Daisey, Myrtle, Fran and Velma; and five grandchildren.

Cairo-Robert Gerald White, 47, a retired mechanical engineer for Dave’s Towing, where he worked for years, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2002 at his residence on Main Street in Cairo.
He is survived by his wife Danelle; his mother Anna Graf White; John White (Son) of Catskill, Sara White (Daughter) of Catskill, William H. White, Jr. (Brother) of Catskill, David White, (Brother) of Catskill, James White (Brother) of Athens, Bonnie Schrowang (Sister) of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Henry White Sr. and his sister, Betty White.
He was born Sept. 9, 1955 in Catskill, the son of William Sr. and Anna (Graf) White. He was a graduate of Catskill High School.
Visitation will be at the Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home at 139 Jefferson Heights in Catskill on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

August C. Jurgens World War II Purple Heart recipient
Catskill—August C. Jurgens, 95, of County Route 31, Round Top, died Oct. 23, 2002, at Columbia Greene Long Term Care, Catskill, after a long illness.
He was born June 28, 1906, in Germany, and was the son of the late Claus and Marie (Berman) Jurgens.
Mr. Jurgens served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II. During the war, he was a prisoner of war and took part in the Normandy Invasion. He received the Purple Heart.
Prior to his retirement, he was a taxi drive in New York City. He had been an area resident since 1960 and was a member of the Resurrection Lutheran Church of Cairo. He loved hunting and gardening and was an avid outdoorsman. He also was a member of the VFW.
Survivors include his niece, Barbara K. Olton of New York City, and other nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Agnes (Umulant) Jergens.
Private cremation took place at the Albany Rural Crematorium in Menands.
A memorial service in his memory will take place on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 11 a.m. at the Richards Funeral Home, 383 Bross St., Cairo, with the Rev. Victor Nelson, Pastor of the Resurrection Lutheran Church of Cairo officiating.

Michelle A. Koegel Senior at the University of South Florida
Bradenton, Fla.,--Michelle A. Koegel, 33, of Bradenton, Fla., died suddenly at the home on Oct. 14, 2002. Michelle was stricken with Juvenile Diabetes at age 10 and had long battled complications with the disease.
She was born Feb. 5, 1969 in Catskill to William T. Cole and Judith (Cirulli) Cole.
Upon her mother’s remarriage in June 1973, she resided in Purling with her mother and stepfather, George Koegel.
Michelle was a 1987 graduate of Cairo-Durham High School and earn a A.A.S. degree from Columbia-Greene Community College in May of 1990.
Following college graduation, she resided in Raleigh, N. C., and Washington, D. C. She and her daughter, Katie A. Koegel, moved to Bradenton, Fla. in March 1998.
Michelle was a senior at the University of South Florida in Sarasota, to graduate in December of 2003 with a B.A. in Social Sciences.
Survivors include her parents, George and Judith Koegel of Brandenton, Fla.; a daughter, Katie Al Koegel; a son, Joshua Brinkley of Wilmington, N. C.; a brother Eric of Rensselaer; a maternal grandmother, Margaret Tsilifis of Livingston; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her paternal grandparents, John and Minnie Koegel, predeceased her.
A memorial service was held on Oct. 17 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Brandenton, Fla. National Cremation Society of Sarasota, Fla. was in charge.
