The Cairo Historical Society is dedicated to preserving the Town of Cairo's rich historical past and providing opportunities for the public to learn about their heritage.  The Cairo Historical Society was founded in 2007 with 10 enthusiastic members.

Meetings:

The Cairo Historical Society will hold their monthly meeting on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00pm at the Cairo Public Library in the Community Room, unless otherwise posted. Please note that the Cairo Historical Society does field trips a few times in the year, visiting historical homes and businesses in our community. On those days we have have our monthly meeting off site. Notices will be posted on the Cairo Historical Society Facebook page.

Everyone is welcome! Meetings are used to discuss new projects, updates on existing projects and present new items of interest. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the Town of Cairo and its rich history.
