This tournament was held between the largest towns in Dutchess County at the time; Wappingers Falls, Fishkill, Poughkeepsie, Red Hook, Rhinebeck, and Millerton. This was an all day event that was held in September of 1908. This tournament was a year after a lavish competition held in Poughkeepsie. In 1909, Poughkeepsie held another competition between the Fire Companies during the Hudson Fulton Celebration. |
