Abstract: Deed from Garret Storm and Jane Ann his wife, to Simeon D. Sincerbox, all of Fishkill, for $255, nearly 1.5 acres in Stormville, dated 1 May 1846, recorded xx xx, Dutchess Co. Deed Book 82:248-249, viewed and transcribed from FHL microfilm 565061 by Patrick R. Webb of San Jose, CA.

Transcription:
This Indenture made the first day of May in the year one thousand eight hundred & forty six Between Garret Storm & Jane Ann his wife of the town of Fishkill County of Dutchess & State of New York of the first part and Simeon D. Sincerbox of the same place of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for & in consideration of the sum of Two hundred & Fifty Five Dollars lawful money of the United States of America to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part at or before the ensealing & delivery of these present the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold aliened remised released conveyed & confirmed & by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien remise release convey & confirm unto the said party of the second part & to his heirs and assigns forever All that certain piece or parcel of Land lying in Stormville town & County aforesaid bounded as follows Beginning at a stake standing on the west side of the road ten links east of a willow stump thence south seventy two degrees west four chains ninety links to a willow stake set in the ground thence south thirteen degrees forty five minutes east two chains sixty links to a stone set on the bank thence along the north side of lands belonging to the School District north seventy three degrees thirty minutes east one chain seventy one links thence along said lands east ninety four links thence along said lands north seventy degrees east two chains ninety links to the west side of the highway thence north twenty seven degrees thirty minutes west two chains eighty one links to the place of Beginning Containing One Acre one rood & twenty eight rods of Land. Together with all & singular the tenements hereditements & appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining & the reversion & reversions remainder and remainders rents issues & profits thereof And also all the estate right title interest property possession claim & demand whatsoever as well in law as in equity of the said part of the first part of in or to the above described premises & any part & parcel thereof with the appurtenances To Have & To Hold all & singular the above mentioned & described premises together with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs & assigns forever And the said Garret Storm & his heirs the said premises in the quiet & peaceable possession of the said party of the second part his heirs & assigns against the said party of the first part his heirs & against all & every person & persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same shall & will Warrant & by these presents forever Defend.

Sealed & delivered in the presence of the word two on the 7th line from the top is wrote on a [?] Wm Homan
Dutchess County ss. On the twenty first day of April in the year one thousand eight hundred & forty six Garrett Storm & Jane Ann his wife came before me & acknowledged that they had executed the within conveyance & the said Jane Ann in a private examination apart from her husband acknowledged that she executed the said conveyance freely & without any fear or compulsion of her husband & I further certify that I know the persons who made the said acknowledgement to be the same individuals described in & who granted the said conveyance.
