The WebatucK Family Burying Ground

Interments in the WEBATUCK GROUND

"Old Gravestones of Dutchess County, New York" by J. W. Poucher published in 1924, pp. 41-42.

Note: Some of Poucher's listings have been found to be inaccurate, so use these with caution.

Additional Note: I have received the following from Al Braley who is doing research on an old home he purchased in the Webatuck area.

"This cemetery has a sign "Deuel Hollow Cemetery" stuck on a stump at the entrance. Someone has placed the sign there in error. This cemetery is located on the east side of Deuel Hollow Road, just south of the Appalachian Trail crossing, but it is NOT the Deuel Hollow Cemetery. I have been unable to find the Deuel Hollow Cemetery. This cemetery has several Hoag burials, but no Deuel stones. Poucher found Deuel stones, but no Hoag stones in the Deuel Hollow Cemetery."

Prince Hoag, d. Jan 23, 1857, a. 69-0-24.
