Mrs. Buys notes that only stones of people born before and through the calendar year of 1850 were transcribed, and "that numerous plain fieldstone markers and unmarked, but evident, graves, were found", in addition to those listed.

TRAVIS PLOT

To reach this cemetery, go from Wiccopee southeast on the East Hook Road and ascend Long Hill. The ground is at the summit, just before the descent to the east, on the left side of the road just beyond, but adjoining, the place where the Appalachian Trail enters the roadway from the north. There are numerous fieldstones in this plot, which extends about 150 feet along the road and is about 100 feet deep. An earlier list says that members of the Odell family (not named) are buried here.

TRAVIS, John, "Juno TR (or FR?), January 14th, 1827 deceased, April 18th, 1813, was born. 13 y., 8 m., 26 d. old. The son of F. M. Travis"
5. "H.T.", - fieldstone marker with these initials and also Jul, or Juil.
6. Interesting pair of handmade matching head and footstones of granite, both pointed shape. No markings.
