CLASSIFICATION: Family ground.
LOCATION: At Staatsburg, on the property of Gerald Morgan.
CONDITION: In fair order; surrounded by a stone wall.
INSCRIPTIONS: 11 in number. Copied July 12, 1913, by George S. Van Vliet.
REMARKS: In 1789 Captain Jesse Eames (born 1739 at Farmingham, Mass.,) and Captain Isaac Russell bought lot number six of the Pawling Purchase from Christian Bergh and settled on the land, where they spent the remainder of their lives. This burial ground was used by the Eames family.
