CLASSIFICATION: Churchyard.
LOCATION: In the city of Poughkeepsie, in the rear of residence lots on Garden, High, and Mansion streets, with approach from Garden street.
CONDITION: Thickly overgrown with saplings and vines; a place of deposit for neighborhood refuse.
INSCRIPTIONS: 182 in number. Copied in 1911 by J. W. Poucher, M. D., and Miss Helen W. Reynolds. Published in the Poughkeepsie Eagle of December 23 and 25, 1911.
REMARKS: The Baptist Church of Poughkeepsie was organized in July, 1807, and this land was acquired shortly after for burial purposes.
