Champlain Chapter
National Society
Daughters of the American Revolution
We received our charter #820 on June 2, 1909. Our Chapter is named after the
French explorer Samuel de Champlain. We have members located in the foothills
of the Adirondacks and on the shores of Lake Champlain. Our lake was used as a
"road" by the Indians, Samuel de Champlain, Indian and British Warriors, and
fighters in the American Revolution and War of 1812.
