10 years old in 1880 but was labeled by a nickname. Note. Josephine is
really Mary Josephine

Reference in 1860 Census line 40 on page 158. Age 26 Farmer. Wife Caroline

Reviewed 1850 census. He was referenced on pagel 113. Frank H. Ludlow's
parents were born in Vermont. Need to check Vermont 1790 and to 1830 to
cross match. Frank H. Ludlow was 16 and in the household of Judd Cass. Fanny
age 39 is Frank's mother.

According to the 1900 census Caroline aged 63 at that time had 7 children
all of which were alive at the time. Fred is noted in the Census as living
next to to Frank and Caroline. It is believed that Fred is the 7th child.

Believe Mary(age 1) noted in 1870 census is really Josephine noted in 1880
as aged 10 but nicknamed. Found the use of nick names as common.

there is an issue with age. In 1900 it is indicated that the birhtdate is
1837 with an age of 63. In 1920 Caroline indicates that she is 74 years old.
I believe the 1920 census is wrong. Caroline should be 84 years of age. The
same situation holds true for Frank.

death certificate of Caroline who died at 6 a.m fo Cerebral Hemorage
