No one seems to know the parents of Roswell HOWARD

Roswell probably a brother to
Nathan Howard, one of the ten Howard brothers
well known in the early history of Jamaica
and Townshend, Vermont. (Series 1, New England Families Genealogical and
Memorial) may be well known but I cannot place them
ROSWELL had a sister known as PURLEY or PERLEY married to Isaac GAGE bro to
Roswell's wife she is gone by 1850 census he is with several sons in the
neighborhood;
No dates for her but Isaac, was b: 15 APR 1793 Vermont
Death : 29 APR 1871 Texas Township, Kalamazoo, MI
