The Delanti Society or M.E. Church now (May 2nd 1861) Existing, was organized the 13th Day of Dec. 1857, By Rev. R. Roberts, Senior Preacher on Sinclearville Circuit, Done by Order of J.H. Mallon, Res. Elder of Fredonia District, Erie Conference, Rev. E.M. Nowlen, being Pr. in Charge on said Circuit.
The Society remained in the above connection with the next session of Said Conference, when it was severed from Sinclearville & formed, for two Conference ??? part of Ellery Circuit, at which time, (July 1860) Delanti & Chautauqua Hill Societies were made a separate Charge ??? Delanti.
