- June 28, 1946, the eligible voters created Letchworth Central
School District
- August 20, 1948, the district approved a building site on the
Gainesville-Castile Road
- December 4, 1950, a vote on a bond issue to provide a
Junior-Senior High School with Kindergartens and a complement of grade
rooms was defeated.
- June 29, 1951, a similar bond issue was also defeated.
