Earth never bore a sweeter
flower. It was not ours to keep. She has gone to bloom in Eden's bower, And we are left to weep. Harriet M. Gills, dau. of Nathan & Lydia, d. Dec. 7, 1848, 20y; North Gainesville Cem. |

We are fortunate to have listings of all the cemeteries in the Town of
Gainesville provided by Mary Mann. These were compiled from several
sources including various Historical Wyomings, cemetery plot maps,
and other listings. Stan & Judy Rutherford, Town Historian
and wife, verified them
by both re-reading the stones and often checking obits. Mary Mann,
librarian, typed the information into Excel, and did much re-reading
herself. In some cases,
there is information listed here which is not found on the stone, but rather
drawn from the obit or other sources. Dates given after cemetery name is range of burial dates. I am saying "all", but we don't have the North Gainesville Cemetery. For that data, please refer to the Historical Wyoming from Nov. 1949.
