From 1997Memories of the Thousand Islands Sun, by the gracious permission of Jeanne Snow, editor. This photograph of the Hotel Manatauck on Prospect Point was on a postcard mailed November 18, 1906, and provided by Bob Matthews of Fishers Landing from his extensive collection. An old tourbook calls it the St. Lawrence Club House located at Prospect Park, the first and most prominent point to be seen by the traveler alighting from the train at Clayton...formerly known as Bartlett's Point. Owing to a height of over a hundred feet above the level of the river, it commands an unbroken view in all directions."
