AUSTIN, Susanna
Susanna, who lived in the mid 19th century, was a weaver of counterpanes (an archaic term for "bedspreads"), some of which have been passed down through the generations as family heirlooms.
PATTEN, Minne Eliza Wentworth
A descendant of the early 1600's Wentworth and Towne families, Minnie helped her husband run a mercantile store in South Dakota c. 1905. She was also an artist who worked in many mediums.
