Do you have a "Notable Woman Ancestor?" YES, you do!
Those of you who may think otherwise, read on. How many of your female ancestors gave birth to a dozen or more children? How many of them left their family, friends and familiar surroundings in the "old country" and made the perilous journey to America by ship? How many women in your family migrated westward by wagon train, horseback, hand-cart, or WALKED?
So now that you know you have many notable female ancestors, why not honor one of them by including her at this site? She does NOT have to be famous. Everyday pioneers, grandmothers and other unsung heroines are most welcome! This site hopes to make her "famous". : )
To submit your Notable Woman Ancestors, or to link an existing web page to this Site, please send e-mail to Susanne "Sam" Behling, subject "Woman Ancestor Submission". Don't worry about creating a web page - I'll be happy to do that for you. You may include photos, news articles or any other supporting material. If you already have a web page, I'll be happy to link it to "Notable Women Ancestors."

While I am only too happy to create a web page for you, I am not familiar with everyone's female ancestors so please don't ask me to do the research for you. It is up to YOU, the submitter, to provide that information. In addition to biographical information, please include genealogy information, such as birth, death dates and places, information on parents, spouse, and children if known.
