[19721] Richmond Times Given A Surprise Party Mrs Thomas Nuckols of No 2100 Fairmount Ave was the recepient of a delightful surprise party Friday evening from 8-12 o'clock, which was tendered her by a number of her friends in honor of her birthday. Mrs Nuckols was taken completely by surprise but nevertheless, proved herself a charming hostess. Miss Gaulding one of the ladies of the house was let into the secret and had prepared an elegant repast for the guests. Mrs Nuckols received many beautiful gifts, which included gold, silver , china, lenen and cut glass. Among those present were Mrs George Troxler, Mrs Mary Lawrence, Mr and Mrs Bowden, Mr and Mrs T Nuckols, Miss Lizzie Gaulding, Mssrs Elmore Nuckols, John Nuckols and Misses Jane, Marie , Helen Nuckols and others.
