[7812] This indenture made this 21 day of December in the year of our Lord 1829, between Edward T. Nuckols and Susan N. Nuckols his wife of the County of Goochland of the first part & Joseph Nuckols of the county of the second part. Witnesseth, that where as William Nuckols decd. Grandson of the said Susan N. Nuckols hath by deed bearing date in the month of January 1820 for the sum of two hundred dollars sold and conveyed to the said Joseph Nuckols all the right, title and interest which the said Susan N. Nuckols had in a certain undivided track, piece or parcel of land belonging to Pouncy Nuckols decd. lying and being in the said County of Goochland. Now therefore it is this true intent and meaning of this Indenture that the said Edward T. Nuckols & Susan N. Nuckols his wife for and in consideration of the premises herein before mentioned as well as for the further consideration of the sum of one dollar to them the said Edward T. Nucko ls & Susan N. Nuckols his wife in hand paid by the said Joseph Nuckols the receipt where of they do hereby acknowledge by these presents for thems elves, their heirs and ratify and confirm to all intents and purposes to the said Joseph Nuckols his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns this said conveyance made as aforesaid by the said Williams Nuckols decd. and the said Edward T. The ushers were�u� Mssrs Elbert and Albert Nuckols of Dimmock, W�/u�V and Arthur Nuckols all brothers of the bride; Theodoro Isbell of Louisa. A reception for the bridal party and a few friends was given after the wedding in the home of the bridegroom. The church was beautifully decorated in green and cut flowers. Among the guests were Mr and Mrs Priddy, Mr and Miss Nuckols and Mr Robert Jackson of Charlottesville, VA
[11685] Fell From Roof Carpenter Injures Spine and is Seriously Hurt by Fifty Floor Fall E C Nuckols fell from the roof of a stable building on which he was working on Broad Street, opposite the home for incurables yesterday receiving injuries which make his recovery doubtful.The city ambulance was called and Dr Strole found serious injury to the spine with inidications of a slight fracture at the base of his brain. After being treated he was taken to his home No 1201 Beverly St where his family physician was called. Nuckols had not regained consciousness last night and his condition was thought to be serious.
