This page is dedicated to the memory of the original settlers of Jeddore, Oyster Pond, Salmon River, Clam Harbour, Ostrea Lake, Upper Lakeville, Musquodoboit Harbour, Lake Charlotte, and the surrounding area. These small communities were settled by people of various backgrounds, religious affiliations, and countries of origin, however, they all came with one common dream, - to create a better life for themselves and their families.
