We the Subscribers do hereby Certify that Daniel Sutherland has performed the duties of a Teacher to the public School belonging to the South East Passage for the preceding six Months agreeably to Law and to the Satisfaction of the Inhabitants - That the sum of Twenty-five Pounds has been actually and bona fide paid to the said Daniel Sutherland and that four Children have been taught gratis therein Viz - Henry Myers, James Myers, James C. Younge (DeYoung?) and David Hunter.
