The home of Mr. and Mrs. Fuller GREEN, Fox Harbour, was destroyed by fire on June 25th.

Born at Moncton on June 27 to Mr. and Mrs. Robb L. COLBORNE, a son, Stephen Robb.

Married at Amherst on June 28, Marion Winnifred, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reginald L. LOCKHART, Amherst, and Glenn Arthur MARCHANT, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor B. Marchant.

Married at Yarmouth on June 7, Ruth Mildred PORTER, RN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Judson Porter, Cedar Lake, and Hugh Roy BROWN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Brown, Wallace Bay.

Married at Oxford, on June 27, Muriel Grace HENLEY, daughter of Bickford Henley, Oxford, and the late Mrs. Henley, and Douglas Evan MILLS, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Mills, Rockley.

Died at Wallace Bay on June 18, Mrs. William MCKIM, 66, for many years a resident of Pugwash.

Married at Pugwash recently, Anna Louise KING, daughter of Mrs. Florence King of Pugwash and Stephen Thomas SULLIVAN of Taunton, Mass.

Died at Oxford Junction Road, on July 13, Samuel MARTIN, age 50.

Thursday, July 12, 1928

On July 3, a bump occurred in No. 2 mine at Springhill, when Wm. PENNY and Fred JOHNSON were killed. Mr. Penny leaves a wife, who was Miss Ted MILLER of Oxford, and one child.

Died on July 9th, Thomas DIXON of River View, age 71.
