A Look Back.
In 1965 a new trophy, to honor the achievements of the late John E. Hills of Oxford, was presented to be awarded to the outstanding track and field athlete in N.S. Mr. Hills was a fine gentleman, an ardent and expert curler, and achieved a reputation as the outstanding runner in the Maritimes around the turn of the century. His sons, Harry, Robert and Reg, were all outstanding athletes.
