A new daughter is being welcomed at the home of Mr. WELLINGTON MATTINSON.

Married at Springhill, N.S. on 18 January by Rev. H.G. ESTABROOKS, ALEX W. WEBB of Lynn, Col. Co. N.S. and Mrs. EVELYN M. JOHNSON of Little River, Cumb. Co., N.S.

Mrs. A.S. MacINTOSH, wife of druggist died at her residence on Wednesday the 13th. Leaves husband, 2 sons and 2 daughters. Her mother, Mrs. MOORE and one sister, Mrs. ALEX M. ROSS survive. She was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery.
