Funeral of Late ARCHIBALD MacKINNON

Amherst, Dec 15th -
The esteem in which the late ARCHIBALD McKINNON whose death was recorded on Friday, was held by the citizens of Amherst was down today by the unusually large number present at the funeral, which took place from his late home at 2:30 pm. Service at the home and grave were in charge of Rev. P.A. WALKER, pastor of St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church of which Mr. MacKINNON was a member and Rev. H.E. DIBBLE, rector of Christ Church.

BORN
On Dec 15th, to Mr. & Mrs. IRVIN FARNELL, Collingwood, a daughter.

On Dec. 12th, to Mr. & Mrs. HARRY MAYBERY, at Westchester, a son

A slight error occurred in the Obituary notice of Airman HAROLD C. DAVID in our last issue. It should have stated that he enlisted in the 85th battalion instead of the 193rd.

OBIT - Mrs. OTTIE GORDON

Mrs. OTTIE GORDON passed away on Sunday morning, Dec. 15th, at the home of her husband's parents, Mr. & Mrs. ISAAC GORDON, at the early age of 28 years, leaving a sorrowing husband and little daughter. She was formerly Miss SADIE DARLING of Maccan. The deceased fell victim to pneumonia.
The funeral was held on Monday afternoon, Rev. G.R. KYLE officiating in the absence of Rev. P.R. HAYDEN, who was ill. The burial took place in the River Philip Cemetery.
