SUTHERLAND of Oxford, N.S.
The ceremony which was performed by the Rev. G. CAMERON took place in the drawing room, which was profusely decorated with palms, ferns, roses & sweet peas, pink & white being the color scheme. The bride looked very charming in a french suit of cream broadcloth, trimmed with lace, the lapels being embroidered in cream silk, opening over a chic blouse of silk crepe de chene with lace adornment and cream lace hat with white osprey and pink roses and cream velvet streamers. She wore the groom's gift a platinum necklace set with diamonds and pearls and carried a shower bouquet of bride's roses and valley lilies. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss ELLA REYNOLDS, who was beautifully gowned in a pink silk with lace and black hat with pink flowers and ospreys. She wore a crescent brooch set with pearls, a gift from the groom and carried pink and white roses.
Mrs. PERCY SCARTH supported the groom, whose gift to him was a pair of gold cuff links. The bride was given away by her father, while Lohengrin's Wedding March was played by Mrs. N. H. REYNOLDS (RETLAW) who wore a pretty costume of pink satin with union tunic. Mrs. REYNOLDS the bride's mother wore a handsome toilette of grey silk voile with rose and lace accessories.
After the ceremony which was witnessed by just the intimate friends and relatives of the bridge and groom a dainty luncheon was served at small tables.
