MARRIED - DWYER - McNAMARA
A very pretty wedding was solemnized in St. Bridget's Church at 7 o'clock on Tuesday morning, July 29th, when Miss JULIA MARGARET, third daughter of Mr. & Mrs. J.R. McNAMARA of Parrsboro, became the bride of Mr. PATRICK GRANCIS DWYER OF Cloumel, Ireland.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. THOMAS JOHNSON.

DIED
Mrs. SARAH J. CHISHOLM died at her home in Highland Village on July 19th, at the age of 83 years. The deceased is a sister of Mr. THOMAS KNIGHT of Valley Road.

At Middleboro, Mass, July 21st, Mrs. ALVA HARTLING, aged 20 years, formerly of Springhill, sister of WATSON and LORNA WEAVER.

Mrs. OGILVIE, wife of Councillor THOMAS OGILVIE, passed away at her home at Wentworth after a long illness. PETER OGILVIE of Sydney attended the funeral service.

At Oxford on July 26th to Private and Mrs. FREDERICK H. MILLER, a son.

At Black River, on Aug. 4th to Mr. & Mrs. NICHOLAS WILLIAMS, a son.

East Leicester
Mrs. GRACE and son ROBERT, of Mass are spending the holidays with the former's parents Mr. & Mrs. H.B. LOCKHART.

On Aug. 23rd to Mr. & Mrs. HARVEY FENTON, Collingwood, a daughter.

On Aug. 22nd to Mr. & Mrs. WESLEYRIPLEY, Williamsdale, a daughter.

At the hone of the bride's parents, Mr. & Mrs. HIBBERT R. WOOD, River Hebert, on Wednesday, Aug. 21st, ALETTA MAUD to ALFRED RAYNER JOWETT of River Hebert, Revs. A.J. McLEOD and C.L. GESNER officiated.

DIED
At Parrsboro, on Aug. 11th, CHAS. LOVELY aged 53 years.

Died
At Wentworth Center, on Sunday Aug. 11th, ALICE C, wife of T.M. OGILVIE, Esq., age 54 years, after an illness of 3 years.

KILLED
GRAY McPHERSON of Conns Mills who has been serving in France, is reported as having been killed in action. He leaves a widowed mother. JOHN, PERCY and JAMES McPHERSON are brothers.

DIED
The death occurred at East Amherst last week of Mrs. W.W. TRENHOLM at the age of 83 years. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. THOMAS WOOD, Port Howe, one daughter, Mrs. F.C. WOOD, Amherst, also 2 sons, EDGAR of New York and D.E. of East Amherst. The funeral took place on Thursday afternoon from the residence of her son. D.E. TRENHOLM, of East Amherst.
