OBIT - HANNAH WARDE
On October 18th, Mrs. HANNAH, widow of the late CHARLES WARDE, passed away at the home of her son, CHARLES WARDE of Arlington, N.S., aged 96 years. She had lived in Arlington for 26 years (Her former home having been Advocate Harbour), where she was most highly esteemed by all who knew her.
During her younger and more active days she filled well her place in the home & in the community. She was the mother of 6 children, 5 of whom survive her.

CHARLES - Arlington
Mrs. NATHAN BENNETT - Auburn, N.S.
Mrs. CLARENCE ELLIOTT - Advocate
Mrs. ENOCH BLENKHORNE - Advocate
Mrs. WELDON CLARK - Wallace Bridge.

For the past 4 months she had been rendered helpless. During all this time she had been most tenderly cared for and was a most patient under her afflictions.
She was one of a bright generous desposition and was always thankful for any attention shown her.
The passing came most beautifully. There was not an unusual amount of pain and she fell asleep in Jesus as calmly and peaceably as the child sinks to its rest. She had been a member of the Methodist Church for over 70 years.
The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Mr. SINDEN of Kentville. N.S.
