He is listed in the 1871,1881 and 1891 census of Cumb. Co. Marriage records of both his marriages are on file with PANS at Halifax. He and his family are listed in The Nova Scotia Eatons by Charles Earnest Eaton.

Sarah Elizabeth Walker wife of John W. Eaton died from TB. She is listed in the 1871 census of Cumb. Co with her husband and first two children.

Notes for Hannah Lee Bulmer:
Her birth date is from a page in the family Bible. She is buried next to her first husband under the name of Hannah Eaton. She used the name Bulmer or Boomer on various times but the correct name is Bulmer. In the 1901 census of Cumb. Co. she gives her birth date as 21 July 1837. She is the widow of John W. Eaton and is employed as a housekeeper for one Richard Powers, a widower and his three children.

Helen May Eaton is listed in the 1871, 1881 and 1891 census of Nova Scotia for Cumb. Co. In 1891 census, she is living with her father in Springhill. In the 1900 census of Kootenay East, she is living at Moyie BC with husband four children and brother Graham Eaton.

Horatio Nelson Brenton is listed in the 1871 census living with his parents, in the 1881 census of Cumb. Co living with his parents, and in the same county in 1891 as head of the household and living with him are a brother Christopher sister Rosamond and his mother. He is a farmer. Other documents consulted are his marriage certificate from Cumb. Co and homestead papers for the Province of AB.

He came west in April 1899 to Moyie BC. Moyie Leader 29 Sept. 1900: The wife and family of H.N. Brenton arrived here last Sunday from Springhill Mrs Frank Nelson who arrived recently from the east died of fever and left a husband 4 little children. She came west with Mrs. Brenton. Moyie Leader 20 April 1901 H.N. Brenton, G.T. McGregor and William Dalles left for a trip to the Windermere country this week. Their return reported in the issue of 27 April 1901. Moyie Leader 22 April 1905 H.N. Brenton has disposed of his freight business to E.M. MacBeth. 22 April 1905 I wish to notify the public that I have sold my freighting outfit and business to E.M. MacBeth and to kindly thank them for their patronage. "H.N. Brenton"

Notes for Graham Allan Eaton:
Lived at Moyie BC from 1900 to 1905, the rest of his life was spent at Springhill. Moyie Leader 22 April 1905: Wildey Lodge #44 IOOF initiates Graham Eaton. He is listed in the 1901 census of East Kootenay living in Moyie BC. in the household of his sister Helen and her husband Horatio Brenton and their four children. In 1911 he worked at the Drumheller coal mine. Springhill mines were shut down due to a strike. He retired at age 72 in 1947 and worked as caretaker at the Wesley United Church in Springhill.

She was the daughter of George Patriquin and Edna Simpson.

Worcester City Directory 1911 list him as a Driver boarding at 105 Lake Avenue with his sister Alice Eaton Storey and husband John W. Worcester City Directory l933 and 1934 lists him as a Chauffeur at 122 Central and living with his wife at 105 Coburn Avenue. His death certificate gives his age at death as 58 years 2 days which would make his birth date 5 July instead of 9 January 1880.
