A cove near Antigonish Harbour, named because of the plaster or gypsum
found nearby.
In the early 19th century vessels came here to load plaster.
POLSONS BROOK., Antigonish County
A brook which flows west into South River, also called McPhee's Brook
and also a
settlement south east of Antigonish between Loch Katrine and Upper
Springfield.
Probably named after William Polson who received a grant of three hundred
acres
in 1828.
