MUISE, Anna Rose - 89, James Street, Yarmouth, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 14, 2006. Born September 4, 1916 in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Augustin and Amy (Doucette) Bourque. Surviving are her loving children, Richard Muise, Kentville; Gloria (Bill) Riley, Gary Muise, both of Manchester, N.H.; Claire Muise, Marymack, N.H.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Lillian LeBlanc, Sand Beach; brothers, Frederick Bourque, Sand Beach; Adelbert (Eileen) Burke, Peterborough, Ont. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Stillman Muise; brothers, Joe, Leonard and Lewis; sister, Hilda Symanski; sister-in-law, Eleanor Bourque. Visitation will take place from 7-9 p.m. today, with prayers at 8 p.m., both in H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, 29 Albert St., Yarmouth. The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, in Saint Ambrose Cathedral, 43 Albert St., Yarmouth, Father John MacPherson officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity. MUISE, Denis O. - 72, Cheticamp, died November 6, 1993, at home. Born in Cheticamp, he was a son of the late Onezime and Elizabeth (Boudreau) Muise. He was a member of St. Peter's Church, Cheticamp. He was a veteran of the Second World War and a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 32, Cheticamp. He is survived by a brother, Sandy, Cheticamp. He was predeceased by a sister, Marie Rose; three brothers, Paul, Arthur, Joseph. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Cheticamp Funeral Home. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Peter's Church, Rev. Lester Marchand officiating. Burial will be in parish cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, the former Marie Louise Boudreau; sons, Simon Pierre, Bernie, Aurel, Gerald, Cheticamp; daughters, Claudette (Mrs. Jean Paul Gaudet), Thelma (Mrs. Patrice Poirier), Diane (Mrs. Gerard Poirier), Paulette (Mrs. Andrew Deveau), Cheticamp; brothers, Georgie, Ontario; Joseph Leo, Arthur, Cheticamp; sisters, Jeannette, Cheticamp; 15 grandchildren; a great-grandchild. MUISE, John Donald - 63, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2006, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born November 15, 1942 in Quinan, he was the son of the late Ralph and Mary (Muise) Muise. He worked as a general labourer and was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and trapper. Surviving are sisters, Jessie (Ken) Muise, Quinan; Hazel (Freddy) Decorcey, Edmonton, Alta.; Mae (Gerald) Frotten, Toronto, Ont.; Marion (Ernest) Muise, Yarmouth; brothers William "Billy", Louis, Kenneth, Angus, Johnny (Brenda), all of Quinan; Joe (Liz), Glenwood. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Virginia Frotten. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, 29 Albert St., Yarmouth. MUISE, John Joseph (Johnny) - 66, Margaree, Inverness County, died November 28, 1992, in Margaree. Born in Margaree, he was a son of the late Alex and Elizabeth (Muise) Muise. He was a member of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Margaree. He worked with Levi LeBlanc Building Supply Limited, Margaree until retirement. He is survived by his wife, the former Josephine Arsenault; three daughters, Louella (Mrs. Philip Brun), Arlene, both of Halifax; Dolores (Mrs. Real Benoit), North Bay, Ont.; two sons, Douglas, Sydney; George, Toronto; sister, Mrs. Hattie Blanchard, New Waterford; two grandchildren. He was predeceased by three sisters, Mary, Clare, Elizabeth; six brothers, Willie, Paddy, Charles, Sandy, Ronald, Angus. The body is in St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, where funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Basil Boudreau officiating. Burial will be in parish cemetery. MUISE, Joseph Murdock - 67, 18 Wilson Rd., Reserve Mines, died February 15, 1993, in Glace Bay Community Hospital. Born in New Waterford, he was a son of the late Hubert and Beatrice (Boudreau) Muise. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Reserve Mines. He was an employee with Department of Fisheries, retiring in 1986. He is survived by his wife, the former Anastasia Aucoin; two sons, Kenneth, Richard, both of Reserve Mines; daughter, Pauline (Mrs. Lorne Budden), Reserve Mines; three brothers, Charlie, Hubert, Bernie, all of New Waterford; seven sisters, Lillian (Mrs. Patty McEachern), Loretta MacDougall), Martha (Mrs. Vince MacCormack), Anne Marie (Mrs. Melvin Cormier), all of New Waterford; Evelyn Horiblow, Mary (Mrs. Art Coruthers), Kay Muise, all of Ontario; five grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Willy John; sister, Cecile Sim. The body is in the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today. MUISE, Marie Estelle - 77, Tidal View Manor, Yarmouth, formerly of Amiraults Hill, Yarmouth County, died August 9, 1992, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Wedgeport, Yarmouth County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Narcisse and Jane Emerise (Pothier) Boudreau. She was a homemaker. She is survived by seven daughters, Celeste (Mrs. Camille Doucette), Bernice (Mrs. Richard Muise), Louise (Mrs. Russell Boddy), all of Ontario; Betty (Mrs. Harry Doucette), Amiraults Hill; Jane (Mrs. Leo Surette), Florence (Mrs. George LeBlanc), both of Morris Island, Yarmouth County; Leona Bourque, Yarmouth; three sons, Bradford, Amiraults Hill; Gerald, Belleville, Yarmouth County; Bernard, Brooklyn, Yarmouth County; sister, Alma (Mrs. Bernard Pothier), Upper Wedgeport, Yarmouth County; two brothers, Bona, Tusket, Yarmouth County; Ligourie, Wedgeport; 25 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. MUISE, Maynard Leo - 67, Surette's Island, Yarmouth Co., passed away on Monday, June 5, 2006, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born May 30, 1939 in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late Leo and Anne Muise. He was a retired labourer, and he enjoyed working on cars, playing the accordion and gardening. Surviving are his wife of 43 years, M. Louise (LeBlanc) Muise, as well as his children, Wayne (Wendy) Muise, Joey (Deedee) Muise, Judy (Chris) Nickerson, Preston (Lisa) Muise, Cathy (Robert) Hebert, all of Saint John, N.B.; Tina Muise, Yarmouth; 12 grandchildren; brothers, Gerald (Theresa) Muise, Saint John, N.B.; Bobby (Jeanette) Muise, Yarmouth; sisters, Leona Doucette, Saint John, N.B.; Yvonne (Jerry) Doucette, Yarmouth. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by son, Mark Muise, and grandson, Michael. Visitation will take place from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, with prayers at 8 p.m., both in H.M.
