2. Hugh2 Welles (Thomas1_) was born in Colchester, Essex, England 1590. He died 1645 in Hartford, Connecticut. Hugh married Frances Belcher in Colchester, Essex, England, 1619. Frances was born in England 1598. She died 1678 in Wethersfield, Hartford County, Connecticut.
Hugh Welles and Frances Belcher had the following child:
3 i. Mary Welles3 was born in Colchester, Essex, England 1626. She died July 3, 1700 in Deerfield, Franklin County, Mass.. Mary married Jonathan Gilbert in Hartford, Connecticut, 1650. Jonathan was born in England 1618. He was the son of Thomas Gilbert and Lydia Unknown. Jonathan died December 9, 1682 in Deerfield, Franklin County, Mass..
