2. James2 Saxton (George1_) was born in Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut 1660. He died December 12, 1741 in Westfield, Mass.. He married Anna Bancroft in Westfield, Mass., January 22, 1701. Anna was born in Westfield, Mass. May 5, 1663. She was the daughter of Thomas Bancroft and Margaret Wright. Anna died March 17, 1732 in Westfield, Mass., at 68 years of age.

Third Generation
3. James3 Saxton (James2, George1_) was born in Westfield, Mass. November 9, 1702. He died January 9, 1783 in Sheffield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, at 80 years of age. He married Abilena Gilbert in Westfield, Mass., June 3, 1728. Abilena was born in Lebanon, New London County, Connecticut March 10, 1707. She was the daughter of Samuel Gilbert and Mercy Warner. Abilena died June 3, 1774 in Sheffield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, at 67 years of age.

Fourth Generation
4. James4 Saxton (James3, James2, George1_) was born in Sheffield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts September 5, 1729. He died March 24, 1793 in Columbia County, New York, at 63 years of age. He married Sarah Noble in Sheffield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, 1751. Sarah was born in Sheffield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts October 4, 1730. She was the daughter of Elisha Noble and Abigale Warner. Sarah died October 18, 1769 in Sheffield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, at 39 years of age.

Fifth Generation
5. William5 Saxton (James4, James3, James2, George1_) was born in Sheffield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts December 25, 1755. He died March 12, 1832 in Midddlefield, Otsego County, New York, at 76 years of age. He married Mary Betts. Mary was born in Wilton, Fairfield County, Connecticut October 16, 1756. She was the daughter of David Betts. Mary died February 10, 1840 in Midddlefield, Otsego County, New York, at 83 years of age.

6. John6 Saxton (William5, James4, James3, James2, George1_) was born in Cambridge, Washington County, New York January 27, 1780. He died April 1, 1820 in Westville, Otesego County, New York, at 40 years of age. His body was interred in Westville, Otesego County, New York. John married Esther Niles in Cambridge, Washington County, New York, December 25, 1796. Esther was born in Galway, Saratoga County, New York August 7, 1778. She was the daughter of Simeon Niles and Anna Randall. Esther died November 18, 1864 in Midddlefield, Otsego County, New York, at 86 years of age. Her body was interred in Westville, Otesego County, New York.

Seventh Generation
7. John T.7 Saxton (John6, William5, James4, James3, James2, George1_) was born in Wellsville, Otsego County, New York December 4, 1818. He died July 23, 1899 in Madison, Lake County, Ohio, at 80 years of age. His body was interred in Ashtabula County, Ohio. John married Asenath Bates in Westville, Otesego County, New York, May 19, 1841. Asenath was born in Otsego County, New York July 16, 1816. She was the daughter of Thomas Bates and Rachel Palmer. Asenath died December 26, 1880 in Madison, Lake County, Ohio, at 64 years of age.

11 iv. Lucia Saxton was born in Westville, Otesego County, New York April 23, 1857.

10. Luman Edgar8 Saxton (John T.7, John6, William5, James4, James3, James2, George1_) was born in Westville, Otesego County, New York May 26, 1849. He died November 16, 1924 in Bloomfield, Essex County, New Jersey, at 75 years of age. He married Emily Grobetie in Medina, Orleans County, New York. Emily was born in Ridgeway, Orleans County, New York October 9, 1849. She was the daughter of Frederick Thomas Grobetie and Elizabeth Unknown. Emily died August 18, 1885 in Milford, Otsego County, New York, at 35 years of age.

12. Lavern Frederick9 Saxton (Luman Edgar8, John T.7, John6, William5, James4, James3, James2, George1_) was born in Geneva, Ashtabula County, Ohio December 1, 1874. He died July 19, 1967 in Sarasota, Sarasota County, Florida, at 92 years of age. His body was interred in Richfield Springs, Otsego County, New York. Vern married Pearl Estelle Ackerman in Richfield Springs, Otsego County, New York, June 9, 1897. Pearl was born in Richfield Springs, Otsego County, New York October 13, 1875. She was the daughter of James Edward Ackerman and Eva Estella Wheeler. Pearl died December 19, 1956 in Sarasota, Sarasota County, Florida, at 81 years of age. Her body was interred in Richfield Springs, Otsego County, New York. i P

13 i. Rachel Elizabeth Saxton10 was born in Cooperstown, Otsego County, New York April 18, 1899. She died June 2, 1997 in Ossinging, New York, at 98 years of age. Rachel married Barber Lester Waters July 15, 1922. Barber was born in North Cambridge, Washington County, New York February 4, 1898. He was the son of Barber Franklin Waters and Cynthia J. 14 ii. Harold Lavern Saxton was born in Cooperstown, Otsego County, New York November 19, 1901. He died January 24, 1996 in Sarasota, Florida, at 94 years of age. Harold married Elizabeth Bliss.
15 iii. Stanley Edward Saxton married Catherine Lena Boydon.
16 iv. Doris Myra Saxton was born in Fort Plain, Montgomery County, New York June 18, 1906. She died March 9, 1968 in Sant Fe, New Mexico, at 61 years of age. Doris married Robert Ward Cutler.
